Pom Klementieff Hilariously Trash Talks Chris Hemsworth For Charity With An Assist From Tom Cruise

For her AGBO Superhero League trash talk video, Guardians of the Galaxy star Pom Klementieff (with an assist from her Mission: Impossible team) dropped quite the gauntlet on Chris Hemsworth this week.

After being spotted filming something fun in Venice earlier this week, Pom Klementieff (Avengers: EndgameGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) has shared her entry for this week's AGBO Superhero League trash talk video, which involves her singing a song, titled "Au Revoir Chris Hemsworth," which, as you might expect, hilariously rips into her Avengers co-star.

The original song, which pays homage to Serge Gainsbourg's “Laisse Tomber Les Filles,” was co-written by Pom and her Mission: Impossible 7 co-star Simon Pegg, who also directed the short video. In addition to Hemsworth, she also throws in a few digs at fellow league members and co-stars Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, and Ryan Reynolds.

If the hysterical lyrics weren't enough, she really drops the hammer at the end, singing "One thing I’m certain of, and I’m sorry to break your heart, but my team is better than yours." as the camera pans out to a badass shot of her with her new Mission: Impossible team of Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, and Simon Pegg; who she's currently shooting with in Venice.

Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 are headlined by Tom Cruise (Top Gun: Maverick) as IMF ace Ethan Hunt, as well as fellow returning stars Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible - Fallout) as Ilsa Faust, Simon Pegg (Mission: Impossible - Fallout) as Benji Dunn, Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible - Fallout) as Luther Stickell, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible - Fallout) as the White Widow and Angela Bassett (Black Panther) as Erica Sloane. Newcomers to the storied action franchise include Hayley Atwell (Avengers: Endgame), Pom Klementieff (Avengers: Endgame), Shea Whigham (Joker), and Esai Morales (Titans), who is rumored to be playing the villain. Henry Czerny (Sharp Objects) has also been confirmed to reprise his role as Eugene Kittridge from the first film.

There isn't much information regarding who else will make up Ethan Hunt's team for his seventh and eighth adventures, but fans still holding out hope that some combination of Jeremy Renner (William Brandt), Paula Patton (Jane Carter) and/or Maggie Q (Zhen Lei) will also return. There have also been rumblings that the likes of Henry Cavill (August Walker) and Alec Baldwin (Alan Hunley) may also be back in some capacity as McQuarrie recently teased, "Any character, dead or alive, is fair game to return."

Both sequels are expected to film back-to-back, with Mission: Impossible 7 set to light the fuse in theaters on November 19, 2021, while its sequel, Mission: Impossible 8, will open the following fall on November 4, 2022.

You mean with an assist from Simon Pegg, who co-wrote and directed the video. Cruise just turns up for a cameo.

OT: Damn, Twitter really wants Gina Carano fired!
She's over there liking tweets that deny systemic racism exists in this country, challenging the validity of the election, and inviting people over to Parler.

Daaaamn, Gina!

@Battabing - F*** Twitter... They have accounts posting pedo content that they wait days to take down whereas opinions are immediately flagged.

@Battabing - I don't know what Parler is (aside from it meaning talking in french), but the other two things don't look like smart things to do

@bkmeijer - Parler is the new destination for conservative and alt-right commentators being "oppressed" on Twitter.

@Battabing - Being ''oppressed'' on twitter is a new low. That joke just keeps getting better

OT: anyone watch Greenland with Gerard Butler?

Just finished it and I have to say, I thought it was a pretty decent movie, perhaps an 8/10. I thought Gerard did a really good job, and the movie itself was pretty grounded, gritty and realistic. I thought they did a really great job portraying what an actual scenario like this would be like, and this stems from how realistic it was. Certainly a somewhat tense movie at times.

In terms of natural disaster movies, probably one of the best so far. And probably the best asteroid/comet disaster film so far. Kind of like a better, much more personalized and family-centric version of Deep Impact. In fact, a majority of the film was about Gerard's character finding and protecting his family. Its really the first act and third act that involves disaster related stuff.

Certainly worth a watch!

I'll probably never understand the humour of trash talking, but seeing Pom punch sand is pretty funny

OT: anyone seen Truth Seekers? I thought it was pretty funny, but the overall story took over the episodic nature a bit too much for me.

And Simon Pegg should've been in more scenes with Nick Frost, since he was barely in it (looked like he was only in this to do somebody a favour)
