"You ready?.. Let's go!"

For the second weekend in a row, Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is the #1 movie in the world! So far, the Chris McQuarrie-directed film has grossed over $107 million domestically, $264 million worldwide, and is still awaiting release in at least nine major territories including France, Brazil, Italy, & China. Also, with not a lot of major competition until mid-September, expect the IMF to continue its steady run for a few more weeks.

As anyone who's seen the action sequel can attest, the critically acclaimed film featured one jaw-dropping stunt after another with the highlight, of course, being the unbelievable plane stunt where Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt runs on top of and then hangs off the side of a flying Airbus A400M Atlas. The stunt, which opened the film, was performed an insane eight times before Cruise called it a day. Paramount (via Machinima) has released a brand new behind-the-scenes video that takes an in-depth look at the unreal stunt and how Cruise pulled it off. Check it out below!

Plus, check out these new photos:

With the IMF disbanded, and Ethan (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet.

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation will feature:
Director: Christopher McQuarrie
Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt
Jeremy Renner as William Brandt
Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn
Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell
Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust
Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley
Sean Harris as Solomon Lane
Simon McBurney as Attlee
Zhang Jingchu as Lauren
Jens Hultén as Janik "Bone Doctor" Vinter
Tom Hollander as the Prime Minister
America Olivo as Turandot
Hermione Corfield as Record Shop Girl

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation has lit the fuse and is out everywhere NOW!

I thought the plane stunt would last longer...for some reason it was underwhelming for me. No where as good as they ghost protocol building stunt. The motocycle chase in MI5 was amazing, the best stunts of the film were in that chase. It was so exhilarating. Best motocycle scene ever!!!

The motorcycle part was my favorite too, in a film full of great moments (the opera house!). But sitting in the IMAX (the real IMAX), right in the middle, in a HUGE empty theater, that plane sequence was outstanding to behold!

Ghost Protocol is still my favorite though.
