The American live-action movie version of Fist of the North Star was released in 1995, directed by Tony Randel based on a script by Peter Atkins and Wynne McLaughlin. The movie, loosely based on the Shin storyline of the manga, stars Gary Daniels as Kenshiro, Costas Mandylor as Shin and Japanese actress Isako Washio as Yuria, with Malcolm McDowell as Ryuken and Chris Penn as "Jackal" (actually a renamed Jagi). It also featured a cameo by professional wrestler Big Van Vader as Goliath. The movie saw a theatrical release in Japan, but went straight-to-video in the US (though it did receive a premiere on HBO.) The Japanese dubbed version used the original voice actors from the 1980s anime series.

The movie for me was terrible and in some strange way is funny see this and now DBE, what ever see here all the movie

ive actually seen this. Dont remember much. Watched the first clip and i cant believe there are 3 min of black screen and credits. Its totally a warning to stay away from the movie. There are so many long pans its like they are rationing out the scenes.

The anime was off the hook. I actually had most of the VHS tapes back in the day from Manga. This movie is ridamndiculous. I saw it on HBO and I want that time of my life back. Since when did Kenshiro have a mullet? Still, one of my favorite villain names comes from this series..Devil Reverse!
