Dragonball was a catastrophe, the only good thing about it was Emma and there was no way she could save it from the downhill crash it was bound for, maybe in a few years someone with intelligence will acquire the rights and pull from the source material.

As long as FOX doesn't make another one then I'm sure another studio could fund something worth while.

@Corndog@ the movie has nothing really to do with Dragon ball, the only things that are in common with the Manga are the names of the characters and the dragon balls themselves, back stories were changed, the graphics were horrible, the final fight was a joke, and the cliff hanger ending really didn't leave me wanting more because there is no Piccolo jr. it's just king Piccolo again.... if anything needs a reboot it is this movie, and it needs to be out of FOX's hands and done by someone that knows what they are doing.

the only thing good about the movie is the sexy women, and James Marsters as king Piccolo.

Osiris - after their past dips into the comicbook world, Fox just needs to GIVE IT UP! Their 'adaptations' more often than not BLOW CHUNKS!

I actually did see the movie and to be honest, I did not think it was that bad. Sure, they may have fluffed it up a bit, but I thought it had that classic Dragon Ball humor to it. It wasn't meant to be like DBZ with all the cool fights and intricate stories. They have changed Picolo's origin and changed some settings, but it had the dragon ball feel to it. I really thought it was a well put together movie. Try reading some of the original comics Dragon Ball comics and you may agree.

I never watched any of the cartoons but this movie may tie with Battlefield Earth as the worst movie ever made. Its movies like this that make me glad there is piracy! If i had of paid to see this it probably would have haunted me for a long time. Pure, unadulterated, miserable, shite!
