The episode to this link I've seen yeaaaaaars ago and people seem to think of it as a new one.

Dragon Ball Kai follows back the story from Dragon Ball Z but better animated and has no fillers at all. This is done for its Dragon Ball 20th anniversary.

it doesn't have better animation they just edited the old DBZ episodes to cut out the filler, the only better animation is in the intro

To Osiris, the animation is better, you can clearly tell from watching this or an older DBZ episode, it just looks cleaner.

Would be nice to see new additions or added fight sequences to the series. They could have the same outcome but animation and technology has come a long way. I just think it would be nice to see additional footage or more story to things we cared about as dbz fans. Just my opinion.

So basically this is just DBZ. Everybody knows who radish is already. Known of it is new. This is not news.

it is cleaner but that is it, the animation it self is not new just polished, if it was new it would look more down the lines of Bleach or Soul Eater, they didn't redraw anything but the opening they just edited out the filler you can tell when you watch these episodes.

its not better animated it's just another re-mastered and re-edited version to cut out all the bullshit. i have the remastered dvd's and the animation is exactly the same save for the opening and ending credits

just a re-edit...

epic fail

it will be better animated later on, the first few episodes told story and everything pretty well, so there was no need to re-animate them. as they move into the next few sagas, you'll see a marked improvement.

well this episode is for sure the original, but yes it is edited, if you watch the original episodes, it would have taken 3 episodes just to get to the point at which they are at now. for example there is a whole point where gohan and radditz are talking and radditz picks up a car and destroys it, and then gohan start to cry, but this episode they show gohan already in the pod. so im happy about this. im the biggest dragonballl z fan there is, and even i thought the show sometimes had to much of nothing in it.
