Text: The old enemy wished for by Dragonball fans
Narrator: The latest footage from next year's Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F film has arrived.
Piccolo: He became a monster from another dimension and came back!
Vegeta: What is going on!?
Goku: Frieza!!
Frieza: Let me show you... My next evolution!
Narrator: Akira Toriyama who is writing the scripts, brought back Goku's old enemy Frieza. Frieza is very popular among fans, and the film will be filled with so many action scenes that Akira Toriyama has called them "fierce."
Text: Akira Toriyama - "Look forward to a fierce face-off."

Frieza is back thanks to the powers of the Dragon Ball and it looks like he has a brand new transformation in tow that allows him to challenge Goku and the rest of the Z-fighters. The footage looks impressive but it raises a TON of questions. In theory, Goku, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta and the rest of the Saiyans surpasses Frieza's top power level during the Cell-saga and Buu-saga. While a new transformation would answer the question of how Frieza is once again a threat, it doesn't explain how he's able to return. In Dragon Ball-cannon, a person isn't allowed to be resurrected if they've been dead for more than a year, and Frieza's been dead for a number years. Also, when people die in Dragon Ball, only those of pure-heart are allowed to retain their body so it raises another quesion surrounding Friea's revival. Perhaps Toriyama-sensei will answer these questions or perhaps the audience will be asked to suspend the rules of the canon previously established; we'll all have to find out when Dragon Ball Z: F Is For Fukkatsu is released in Japan on April 18, 2015.

SYNOPSIS: An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for 'egg') arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the "F" that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived...!

Why couldn't they make the live action version like the anime? I think they need a revolt with McGee as Goku…

@JoeMomma29

Nope, this and BoG are both canon to the manga.

@shadearts

She existed at the end of the manga so no, GT being erased doesn't erase her.

Oh wow, so Frieza is wished back and he'll have another more powerful form... Damn, that's crazy!

This new DBZ movie looks and sounds better than the last one.

this is a joke yamcha would kick frieza's ass

This movie makes no sense because there is no way in hell Frieza could even be close to a challenge to even Picolo at this point especially Goku. Goku is now Super Saiyan God or whatever the form is called why are they even bringing back Frieza. So somehow Frieza's new form makes him like a 1000 times stronger over his original final form? Are we suppose to be worried by the army of foot soldiers hell Krillin could roflstomp through them with both arms and and a leg tied behind his back and he still wouldn't have a scratch.

@mbembet

Woah Woah Woah there buddy we don't need to get carried away there you are talking about Yamcha here the most worthless fighter in the DBZ universe who would probably still have a problem fighting Raditz.

@Melkaticox

Still a pretty bullshit the guy was defeated and almost every Z fighter is well past him at this point. @MyloSteamwitz is right they are so out of ideas for enemies they had to bring back Frieza and a throw away line that he got stronger and boom somehow he is able to fight Goku the Super Saiyan God.

Pesmerga44- goku isant a super saiyan god, he was a super saiyan god it was only temporary and could only be achived by combining the might of several saiyans.

Oh okay I never watched the last movie. I really have no desire to watch any of the DBZ movies truthfully. I just remember reading back when the last movie came out that Goku became a Super Saiyan God.

http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Saiyan_God

Unlike the other Super Saiyan forms, Super Saiyan God is not a permanent transformation

Goku utilizes the Dragon Balls to ask Shenron how to reach the Super Saiyan God form in order to battle with Beerus. The dragon reveals that they need the power of six pure-hearted Saiyans for one of them to reach the form

The synopsis says that they revived Frieza not that he is from another dimension.

Pesmerga44- ow ok, the movie wasnt the best but it had some cool idea's it probably would have been better as a a tv show so it has more time to tell the story. but i enjoyed it regardless.

@Melkaticox @pesmerga44 That's probably it. Frieza's henchmen ask for Frieza to be reborn. But its been over a year and Shenron can't resurrect the Frieza of our dimension so he brings the Frieza from the other dimension that Bills mentioned in BoG. And this Frieza is apparently strong enough to rival Bills.

I'll be honest. I love Goku but he's too damn overexposed. Why not have Vegeta get his own movie? Or Gohan? Or even Piccolo shit, even a Mr.Satan movie would be refreshing.

Toriyama messed up after the Cell saga by brining Goku back from the dead. It should have been Gohan and Vegeta leading the attack against Buu.

After the Cell saga, DBZ became less about training and more about transformations.
TheRealIntruder
TheRealIntruder - 12/5/2014, 7:43 AM
I would have Gohan reach Super Saiyan 3 at the end to put away Kid Buu.
kinghulk
kinghulk - 12/5/2014, 7:45 AM
therealintruder- i agree but instead they made gohan weak and brought back goku. i wouldent have minded if they brought him back if vegeta, picolo and gohan got more exposure then at the end Goku finally comes back and fuses with gohan or vegeta and this time instead of toying with buu he just kills him.

@MarkJulian

My problem with the show is that there is no plot and the fights got increasingly more boring. Just everyone shooting laser blasts at each other, spending half the episodes powering up, and nothing really intriguing. I have to say Akira Toriyama was at his best when he was writing the original Dragonball where Goku was a kid. There was much more of a plot to that series, the characters were more fun, and the fights were far more interesting.

[frick] Freiza! Kid Buu is the best!
TheRealIntruder

Thats the thing. I wouldnt even have a Mystic Gohan.I would just have Super Sayain 3. And its debatable how much more powerful mystic Gohan is than a SS3. Because after Buu absorbed SS3 Gotenks he pretty much toyed around with Mystic Gohan.

If SS3 Gotenks wasn't so immature he could have destroyed Buu after a few minutes.
