ive got the artbook, and i think when it comes with vision they went with a great design, but there was one more that i think would have been equally awesome if they went with that design.

I wish there was a way that they could've incorporated the Vision earlier in the movie. He was by far my favorite part.

I don't like the Vision, they did a fine job with him in AOU but the character is just bleh! And the idea that he gets it on with Wanda...that's just God damn creepy.

Marvel should just remember that Vision is not a robot; he's a man made out of synthetic flesh ie synthetic lungs, synthetic liver, synthetic skeleton...hence the term synthezoid. He isn't a robot and never has been.

I don't understand all the fuss about Vision in AOU.

Hopefully the Russo's will develop him like they did Widow in TFA because Hulk was a major let down for me.

Tetrahedron- he wasent a robot in the film

@kinghulk: Then why does his face (up there) have have screws and angular interlocking plates?
kinghulk

tetrahedron- an android cant have unique details in his face, his body was built using a machine which gave hawkeye artificial flesh to heal his wound.

@nikgrid: Wanda and Pietro's father Magneto (anti-Fox retcons are meaningless to me) f'ed them up so bad that they could never be with humans because of his bonkers bigoted indoctrination. They've shed most of his brainwashing but deep inside they still secretly believe humans are beneath them. This is why Pietro married an Inhuman and Wanda married a synthezoid. On some basic level they're still afraid of disappointing their father and they still crave his approval. That's why I think Wanda and the Vision's relationship makes perfect sense. Yes, she's fallen in love with Wonder Man but it's taken her years to get to that point and he had to die and get resurrected as being made out ionic energy before she could get with him. In short Mags did a bag up job raising his kids. :/

Stormkami- i know that but tetrahedron seemed to be saying he was just a robot in the film

@kinghulk: That's what I'm saying. The Vision isn't an android (google tells me that's a robot with a human appearance), Vision's a biological male that just happens to be made from magical red synthetic flesh. An android is a robot made to look like a human but is all machine inside, the Vision is human on the inside for all intents and purposes.

the vision is commonly described as an android which he is because technically he is still a machine, he even describes himself as an android.

that guy in the link gives a decent explanation, all synthesoids are androids but not all androids are synthesoids

ckal- theres an even better version in the artbook which i think is just as good if not better than the version we had in the film

Professor Horton would be so disappointed to hear the Vision regarding himself as nothing more than a lowly android like Machine Man and Jocasta. This was probably before he found out Ultron used the original Human Torch's body to make him, I dunno.

a synthezoid is an android just more advanced

Design they went with was perfect. I wonder if Vision will have the ability to change "costumes" in upcoming movies? Marvel do tend to update costumes pretty regularly.
