AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON: Is One Of These Actresses CAPTAIN MARVEL?
No, this isn't an April Fool's Day joke! The cast list for the Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere has surfaced, and on it are two fairly well known actresses we didn't actually know were in the movie. Could one of them be introduced as Carol Danvers? It's a possibility! Read on for details...
The eagle eyed folks over at /Film spotted Julie Delpy and Linda Cardellini on the cast list for the world premiere of Avengers: Age of Utron and have confirmed with Disney that their placement there was not a mistake. That means they're in the movie, but why should we even care?
Well, rumour has it that Captain Marvel has been cast and will be making an appearance in the sequel, and there's at least a very small chance that Carol Danvers will be brought to life by one of these women. They might have very minor parts like Ashley Johnson's waitress in The Avengers of course, but this is at least worth considering. Having Carol appear here before getting her powers would make sense, though for all we know, Avengers: Age of Ultron might be her origin story!
Delpy is best known for starring in Richard Linklater's Before Trilogy, while Cardellini's credits include the Scooby-Doo movies and Mad Men. Do either of these actresses strike you as Captain Marvel material? Sound off below, and be sure t stay tuned to CBM for any further updates.
