By now you have all watched AOU and it has the usual marvel and non marvel easter eggs ranging from Stan Lee comeo, wakanda/Black Panther, Hellen cho, The Crimson Cowl, Star Wars hand slice(twice), Peggy, Veronica, Infinity Gauntlet and many others. I am not going to go into details on the above easter eggs but i will discuss the only visible and plain to see easter egg everyone seems to have left out. Maybe its not an easter eggs when its  hidden in plain sight.

ATTILAN;

In the final act of AOU, Ultron's big plan for the Vibranium he got from Klaue was not for armor upgrade but for building amachine that launches part of Sovokia upwards with intensions of releasing it to the ground leading to global extinction. When the city was mid air, there was little difference from the usual Attilan floating images from comics we have seen through out the years.

If marvel had showed Sovokia in mid air in one of the trailers there's no doubt that fanboys would think it was Atillan. With the way Marvel is puashing Inhumans, why not give everyone good treat before the real Attilan comes in 4 years time. So what do you guys think.

I don't think it was an Easter egg, more of a coincidence really.

Not every floating city is a nod to Atillan, but the thought crossed my mind while watching it as to how Atillan might be portrayed come in the Inhumans, wouldnt particularly consider it as an easter egg though

Seems like you're reading too much to it. All floating cities look as generic as that

Not saying that all floating cities are Attilan by why would Marvel the same studio bringing us Inhumans give us a floating city then four years later we are like oh didn't they do that in avengers AOU. just saying

Eh. At the most it was just a nod towards Attilan.

Was the city actually called Attilan? No? Then it wasn't an easter egg.

It just happened to be a city that was floating.

It definitely sets up how a city could float.

I was thinking about this more, though.

I thought it was more of a coincidence than an easter egg.
