Do we even know if those scenes are in South Africa? Sure they're being filmed there but most suburban areas are pretty interchangeable nowadays.

The hair on Hulk looks much more like Ruffalo's than in the first film. Hope they've upped the CG.

MaN ok, so even tho HuLk does his thing and destroys part of Africa the other Avengers need him to destroy uLtron, end of credits scene, Hulk wakes up on a space ship, Iron man recording playing "I am truly sorry for what we've had to do..."

I wasn't even a big fan of the avengers to begin with. I've loved every other movie Marvel Studios have released, especially 'The Incredible Hulk'. I'm hoping avengers 2 will be better than the first. Do I have to blindly love everything I see that has to do with MCU?

They use the practical head just for test shots so when the CG artists go in and do their work they have a baseline for how the lighting needs to fall on the CG model. The practical effect is never actually seen by the audience. It's a tool used purely for helping with the CG and lighting the CG models. That's it's entire purpose.
