Initial Thoughts On AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

My full, in-depth review of the film will be online this evening, but for now I've recorded my initial spoiler free thoughts for you guys. Has Joss Whedon managed to outdo his own work on what is considered by many to be one of the best CBMs we've had? Click to find out...

Review Opinion
By MarkCassidy - Apr 21, 2015 02:04 AM EST

We were told the embargo lifted for the movie on the Friday we saw it, but it turns out it was in full effect until today. That's why this article vanished on Friday night! Anyway, here it is again, and a more in-depth review is forthcoming.

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson and hits cinemas on May 1st, 2015.

The way ror described it has me thinking it's basically a Michael bay movie with slightly better writing and acting .

He liked it.

It was a good movie but not great, there's lots of cool stuff but it's got it's problems.

Dammit man! I want to hear praises for this movie not disappointment. Well, it is your opinion but I'm gravely disappointed it didn't blow your mind (in general). Man... I was reaaaalllyyy looking forward to Spader's performance as Ultron. I guess I'll just have to see the movie for myself.

I'm not the only one that sees that the early reactions aren't great right? Good, yes. But not great from everything I've read. I don't know whether it's the amount of characters or that Ultron doesn't seem like a cold robot. I heard he is too human. What did you guys hear?

Kr08 - 4/17/2015, 7:31 AM
I think because the reactions aren't great is because we just see them fighting another drone army like the chitauri from the first one. Idk I just want to see it already to get my own perspective on it.

Whedon with the jokes. Main reason why I like the Russos doing the Infinity War movies.I want Joss involved with that as much as I want Lucas involved with anything Star Wars.

I hope I'm not the only one that feels like they showed way too much footage and can now sum up the plot

Why does it matter if not everyone liked & praises a movie you like or want to like? Just formulate your own opinion on it like the rest of us don't be ashamed of it as if it you'll die by having a different one from others.

I wonder if the same people who always complain about BW and Hawkeye being humans will have the same complaint when Justice League rolls around with Batman. He's basically going to be standing next to Gods. Not trying to start nothing I'm just curious. I find people who complain about the two "humans" in Avengers never have a problem with Batman.
