"Oh, [he] can do all sorts of things," said Paul Bettany on Jimmy Kimmel Live! of the Vision's powers in Avengers: Age of Ultron. "But I'm not allowed to really talk about them and what we're going to do because there might be a Marvel agent in the room who will actually wrestle me to the ground and fire me." After commenting that Marvel "pick and choose" powers and abilities from the comics, Bettany went on to discuss going from to just lending his voice to J.A.R.V.I.S. to now physically playing a character. "It's very exciting for me, but everything's a double-edged sword because I was playing JARVIS for years," he said. "My job was I would turn up at a recording studio for 45 minutes, do all my stuff, they would give me a huge bag of cash, and then I would go home. Now, it turns out they've found me out and they want me to actually, ya know, do something. It's not right," joked the actor. What do you think?

The Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, with Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader. The film is set for release on May 1, 2015.

As much as I love J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Iron Man movies, they should have went with an Alfred-style inspirational character for Tony Stark and used Edwin Jarvis.

So will it be a physical appearance with make up and etc or will everything be motion capture? He's going to have to shave his head too. lol

Other question is will his voice be digitized when he's Vision or will he still walk around sounding like Jarvis? lol

@JordanKing First thing that came to my mind when I was putting that article together. Don't know how faithful or unfaithful that would be to the comics though.

JARVIS becoming Vision is fine... But that'd mean he'd no longer serve Tony.

@TheBlackNerd

It will probably be a mix of CG and make-up

@ALegendaryPanda and @MrBlackJack

Ohhh ok, yeah that would make total sense. It doesn't really take all of that Motion Cap for Hulk for Vision when he's walking around. I think they said he'll appear in his original white form too? Should be great seeing him walk through walls and etc. They nailed the character in A:EMH.

going by marvels recent trend of the hulk ,thanos,rocket,groot and Ultron being motion capture,i thiink Vision is gonna be most likely motion capture

Jordanking-yeah , they have changed things before,none more of a big example then the whole mandarin fiasco last year,i personally loved it due to the idea behind it ,this is its own universe,just as the Nolan films were their own universe

@JordanKing @DCMarvelFreshman

If the 1940's scenes being shot are some sort of "vision", I dare say it will be Scarlet Witch who will be responsible. It keeps in line with her abilities from the comics.

So glad that JARVIS was an AI instead of an actual butler. That would have been utter shite.

Is Marvel implying (by the casting) that the J.A.R.V.I.S. system will become The Vision?

Or that J.A.R.V.I.S. will become Ultron (James Spader's voice), thus not allowing any confusion when The Vision shows up and sounds exactly like the J.A.R.V.I.S. system that once was?

Or is it a ruse and the J.A.R.V.I.S. system actually becomes two AI's; one that travels to a safety/back up drive/android that Howard Stark was working on, becoming The Vision in the process. While the other travels to an upgraded Iron Man suit, from which it utilizes to evolve with (I'm assuming) HYDRA's technology, becoming Ultron.

I'm so confused.
