Will We See 'Ms. Marvel' In AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Too?

If you thought the movie was getting a bit super-stuffed with the addition of The Vision, Latino Review's latest scoop won't do much to placate you: According to them the final bit of "major casting" will indeed be Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel.

As an add-on to their coverage of the Paul Bettany as Vision news, Latino Review report that the final major role to be cast in Joss Whedon's Avengers sequel will be Ms. Marvel. A while back we heard whispers that Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff kinda sorta maybe had been in talks about this role, so there was always the possibility Miss Danvers would become a part of the team - although this is the first time the character has been mentioned in connection with the movie by any other (reputable) source. The site don't reveal any more details, but do seem to know how she'll fit into the plot..though they've decided not to spoil that at this time. If this is true, along with the addition of the Vision, Joss Whedon is certainly going to have his hands full juggling all of these characters. Thoughts?

It could just be Carol Danvers and not "Ms Marvel" working with Rhodes perhaps. Both are Airforce and work with the military.

Yeah, MAYBE Carol Danvers as a small supporting character along side the government or shield or whatever. But not actually suiting up and fighting alongside Earth's mightiest heroes.

Marvel is introducing, Ultron, Vision, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Baron Von Strcuker. Who knows who else too, maybe Carol too. People say TASM2 is cramped with 3 villains and 1 Hero. What about 9 heroes and 2 villains.

I think Spider-Woman is as important an Avenger as Quicksilver or Hawkeye.

Yeah that's how I see it playing out if this is true, Ultron threat/situation escalates and goes global, Military/Airforce calls in Rhodes, who comes in with his partner Danvers to help assess and analyse the situation or something like that. Doesn't hurt her character or negate her origin and is a decent introduction. I cannot see them introducing "Ms Marvel" in costume and powers in this movie, it's just too much, but "Carol Danvers" on the other hand I can, albeit in a small role.

as long as War Machine and Falcon are in because these two guys have been introduced, especially War Machine . Also Vision would make sense to be in because of Ultron and Scarlet Witch I hope she up for role in Avengers 3 and(or) Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Avengers 2 is too overcwowded. Look how many heros we could possibly get:

I have a feeling Iron Man might not be in the movie but Tony Stark will play a key role. War Machine should take the mantle in action.

Not to start a war or anything cause I want to see Avengers age of Ultron too, but isn't weird that this movie has over like 10 or more big characters and when BvS has only Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Lex Luthor every one panics? Just sayin.

Why do everyone think Hawkeye isn't a good Avenger? He's been on the team for a long time, he's a loyal avenger and friend, and he kicks ass.

It's cuz the casting of BvS has been so wonky and not exactly confidence inspiring. Plus, yeah, Whedon and ensembles. Nuff said.

I could totally see Whedon casting Katie Sackoff too, although I don't think it's a good idea. Ms Marvel needs to be somebody hot. Sackoff is too butchy. Don't get me wrong, I like her alot but just not for this role.

Bring it.

Before the movie comes out, Cap will have been in 3 movies, Iron Man will have been in 5, Thor will have been in 3, Black Widow will have been in 3, Hulk will have been in 2, and Hawkeye will have been in 2.

That's two characters who need some development. What screen time is needed to establish the other four already established superheroes? And who is to say that Vision, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and a possible Ms Marvel would put all their eggs in that one basket?

I think we're viewing the Avengers bookends as the penultimate epic that has it all. They'll be making appearances later AS WELL.

Batman52@ its because this is Avengers 2 and they will have 9 prequels before the movie hit theathers. There s time to develop many character. On the other hand Batman vs Superman is only their second movie, but I think most people panicked(besides Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor)with "Man of Steel" 2 because of the Aquaman, Green Lantern, Flash, Cyborg, Nightwing rumors.

I'm not worried, as I don't see the need for all of them to have character development. Even if he's in it a great deal, I think it's a safe bet that the Vision will be an adversary for most of the film, although I would expect that he'll turn on Ultron by the end. I'm not sure how to take the post-Cap credits rumors, but I might have imagined Wanda and Pietro to be adversaries as well. Carol Danvers can be a simple supporting character with a recognizable name (to be expanded on in the future.)

The sequel drops (I assume) Loki, the Chitari (or whatever) Coulson and Selvig, and has so far definitely added Ultron, Vision, Wanda and Pietro. Screen time wise, that's a fair trade so far.
