AVENGERS 4 Reportedly Adds BLENDED Actress Emma Fuhrmann As A Teenage Take On Cassie Lang

Now this is interesting. A new report claims to have confirmed that the still untitled fourth Avengers movie has added 16-year-old Blended actress Emma Fuhrmann as an older incarnation of Cassie Lang...

According to the guys over at That Hashtag Show, 2019's untitled Avengers movie has added Emma Fuhrmann (Blended) as an older take on Scott Lang's daughter, Cassie. If true, Fuhrmann would replace 10-year old Abby Ryder Fortson who played the character in Ant-Man and will reprise the role for Ant-Man and The Wasp.

So, why the older incarnation of Cassie?

Well, it's reasonable to assume that a certain amount of time will have passed in the MCU between the events of AMATW and Avengers 4, but surely not that much time? Could it be that Cassie has been recast with an older actress because Marvel is planning to have her take up a superhero mantle of her own? In the comics, Cassie has donned a costume as both Stature and Stinger.

Another reason could be that the fourth Avengers film will indeed involve time-travel, as has been heavily rumored.

Of course, this is all just speculation for now - but the casting does certainly lend itself to some intriguing possibilities. Be sure to share your own theories with us in the usual place.

We know so little about Avengers 4 that even speculating is hard, but I see the potential here. I feel that they're setting up a more youth-oriented team (that's where Ms. Marvel would come in)

@GoldGuy - I want a Young Avengers so much. They don't have to be called that, but bringing in Nathaniel Richards means Kang The Conquerer could be the big bad of Phases 4-6. It opens up a lot of doors. Plus I want Rick Jones to appear in the MCU and I think he'd be good as a team leader / liason between the Young Avengers and a newly reformed SHIELD led by Tony Stark. Honestly surprised he hasn't been brought into the MCU yet, considering his connections to various characters.

@TerryTerrapin - I agree with all this. Heck, adding in Kang right before they get back the FF could be perfect.
But i don't want to get my hopes up.

@GoldGuy - I think Kang could be a good lead in to Galactus. Phase 4-6 could be about Kang, phase 7-9 could be Galactus. Or maybe give each big bad two phases after Thanos, that way they could tell more stories.

I don't know much about the Skrulls, so I don't know really know how they could fit into the larger scheme of things.

And I think the X-Men films could be their own standalone stories that aren't really tied into the big picture, but they still exist within that universe and help out when called upon.

*Levi ponders thinking of its time travel or some shift in time but for everything to work, the world must have a fixed point. Like even if Thanos changes time, Ant-Man & Cheryl would’ve had to meet 10 years earlier to have a kid which is rather unlikely meaning it must be time travel looking into the future. Levi ponders what could a future MCU look like mainly in the Spider-Man universe as Marvel is always trying to keep Peter young & refuses to allow him to grow & yet how we sure Peter could be alive as HC hints to Miles’s so in a possible future, we could see Miles as Spider-Man & Peter dead but Levi would prefer to see MCU Spidey in a Harry Potter type role than trilogy where we see Peter grow for 7 films & thinks if there’s some future outcome where the MCU could hint to Peter marrying MJ whether Zendaya or redhead MJ which would please Levi & get him excited for future Spidey films as this could be a possible future for Peter*

@LEVITIKUZ - I really hope we get a Spider-Man 2099 film. That'd be pretty cool.

👀...hmmmm?? I wonder what Avengers 4 could really be about? Part of me thinks it will be loosely based on Avengers storyline....2015 Secret Wars maybe?

This, plus Tony looking older in the set photos (unless its just RDJ annoyingly experimenting with hair dye as usual)... gotta be a time jump. Could be time jump by time travel.

Scott has the time travel device built into his suit. Cap and Tony are wearing bracelets. Ant-Man and Pym Technology definitely play a role in Avengers 4.
