AVENGERS 4 Title May Have Been Leaked By The Marvel Movie's Cinematographer

Cinematographer Trent Opaloch may have revealed the title for Avengers 4 on his official website - although there is reason to believe that it could be a placeholder. Have a look, and see what you think...

Okay, so we're going tp be taking this with a big grain of salt for now, but there is a chance Cinematographer Trent Opaloch has revealed the title of the fourth Avengers movie over on his website:

Avengers: End Game.

Sound familiar? That's what fans have been speculating the film would be called ever since Infinity War hit theaters, as it references a significant line from Doctor Strange to Iron Man after Thanos acquires the final Infinity Stone.

Opaloch has previously worked with the Russo Brothers on Infinity War, Civil War and The Winter Soldier, so we know he's legit, but The Russos have already debunked this as the title. Then again, they've also tried to convince us that the heroes that turn to dust after "the snap" wouldn't be coming back, so even if it was the actual title they'd hardly confirm it.

There's still a good chance this is a placehpolder and possibly even a case of the cinematographer having a bit of fun with (ie, trolling) fans, but we figured it was still worth sharing and let you guys make up your own minds.

Fitting.

@Roodi - End Game would be fitting, but it's so cheap sounding. It's been used so many times in the comic industry it's not even funny.

Also, I can't help but picture Highlander: End Game when I hear it.

Infinity Gauntlet is the most fitting.

@CorndogBurglar - I recall either Feige or the Russo's saying that Avengers Forever was the closest people had guessed, but that wasn't it. Infinity Guantlet would make sense as the title therefore (Forever=Infinity), but also if it is that obvious why not just officially reveal it sooner? Probably has to do with Ant-Man & The Wasp. Maybe Infinity Realm or something.

@CorndogBurglar - no offense, but without having seen the movie how do we know Infinity Gauntlet is the most fitting, for all we know 4 Avengers, 4 Furious could be the most fitting where Vin Diesel busts out of Groot and runs over Thanos in his sick whip

@Roodi - I really wish it was called Avengers Assembled.

@Reaper87 - That's what the first film is called in the UK

@Reaper87 - I'd be on your side but they played that card with the international release of A1 in most markets (possibly because that old spy film was bigger outside of the US)

@Chaos200 - Oh, damn I wasn’t aware of that. Would have been an awesome shot of pretty much everyone together at the end (although some have died) and the title card comes up “Avengers Assembled”. One can dream lol. Will be interesting to see what it’s gonna be called, I have a strong feeling it’ll be Infonity Gaunlet even though they said they aren’t gonna be using it

@Subtlespammer24 - No offense taken man. I get your point.

But to be fair, it's pretty obvious that the Infinity Gauntlet is not out of the picture.

And when you compare the comics to the films there's a certain way of looking at them.

Infinity War was basically Thanos Quest from the comics. Infinity War sounds much better than Thanis Quest though. But it's essentially the same story, just changed up a bit. But the overall story of Thanos collecting the stones was the entire point of both stories.

After Thanos Quest, Infinity Gauntlet happened. A4 looks to pick up similarly to Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos has already killed half the universe. He still has the Gauntlet and the remaining heroes will need to band together to find a way to stop him.

The focus of Infinity War was the stones. But now that the gauntlet has been completed, it makes sense to call this one Infinity Gauntlet.

But I could be totally wrong.

Is the title of the fourth Avengers ever spoken in Infinity War?

Joe Russo: No.

Okay, because people have been looking for clues in the dialogue.

Anthony Russo: It’s certainly grounded in the narrative that we have been following throughout the MCU – very well grounded…

@Nebula - "The Russos have already debunked this as the title."

Yep... covered.
RageDriver2401
RageDriver2401 - 6/30/2018, 5:49 AM
@Nebula - yep, that's what I thought. But with these guys, who knows, they also keep saying that all the on-screen characters are dead for good, which we know isn't happening.

Eltorodiablo
Eltorodiablo - 6/30/2018, 6:20 AM
@RageDriver2401 - Only thing I want to nitpick here is that the Russos have repeatedly said that the characters are dead. I'm fairly certain that they haven't once said "for good", "permanently", or anything of the like. They've specified that the characters are dead as opposed to people thinking they had simply been teleported across the universe or something.

CaptainElrond - 6/30/2018, 6:26 AM
@Eltorodiablo - Indeed. Somebody can dead for 2 minutes before being brought back. They were still dead.

RageDriver2401 - 6/30/2018, 7:22 AM
@Eltorodiablo - yea you're right, they've never said "for good" I guess I've just been assuming wrong so far.
OuzoPowerMan
OuzoPowerMan - 6/30/2018, 8:05 AM
@Eltorodiablo - I'm pretty sure they implied the "dead for good" thing during that interview. Hence why most of us got the impression that they actually said it.
And you know what? I believe the Russos on that one. I believe some of the heroes that died from the "snap" aren't coming back.
But different versions of them are taking their places. Versions from different timelines or parallel universes. At least that's how I see things working with the quantum realm.
ftf530
ftf530 - 6/30/2018, 10:43 AM
@OuzoPowerMan - While I think some aren't coming back, I hope no one comes back unchanged - and I still think Strange is in hiding.

Idk about you but if I were a 17 year old Peter Park and I died in space, I would totally come back looking like a hot topic reject.

Speaking of emo Peter Parker...

Anyone think we're getting the symbiote sometime soon?
ftf530
ftf530 - 6/30/2018, 10:44 AM
@OuzoPowerMan - I really hope they don't go that route. It's kinda really messed up to me - like how Miles Morales was the only person to remember the ultimate universe.

It doesn't save the lives you've lost to steal them from alternate realities...

There's something way too dark about that for me - maybe stealing macguffins from other universes or timelines, I could deal with that, but the people?

I don't know man.
Franshu
Franshu - 6/30/2018, 1:40 PM
@RageDriver2401 - Well, they COULD be dead and remain dead... in one timeline. And they could start a new, alternative timeline through time-travelling
Franshu
Franshu - 6/30/2018, 1:41 PM
@ftf530 - True. Plus, a 15yo kid dying and coming back to life with memories of having died is... well, that's dark.

@AngryCipher - if I had the money I could put out a bad movie to. It is great for what it is but to praise a horrible flim is a bit much. If anything tommy deserve praise for doing what he did
CaptainElrond
CaptainElrond - 6/30/2018, 6:33 AM
@Grodd87 - Yes you could. But would it be the right potency of bad. Would it make people laugh but also rewatch on how bad it is? and if you are going out to do it rather than accidently that numbs the finality of it.

I think the final quotes of the disaster artist (when tommy cries) put it in perpective. "hey, hey, hey. Listen to me, all right? All right, that thing out there, that's your movie. You made that. All right, like you said, you did that all by yourself. You know how special that is"

And then greg says "Look how much fun they're having. They [frick]ing love it, man! How often do you think Hitchcock got a response like this? "

Can't protect the reality from mystical threats if there is no reality.
