BLACK PANTHER Star Letitia Wright May Have Just Dropped A Potential AVENGERS 4 Spoiler

We never learned the fate of Shuri in Avengers: Infinity War but the actress might have just spoiled who else in the movie survived in a recent convention appearance! Hit the jump for further details!

The last time we saw Shuri in Avengers: Infinity War, she had been knocked unconscious by Corvus Glaive halfway through the surgery she was performing on The Vision. We never found out whether or not she turned to dust like her brother T'Challa but it seems likely that the hero survived and will find out that her King has once again gone. Whether or not she'll take charge of Wakanda isn't clear.

Either way, during a recent appearance at the MCM London Comic-Con, the actress talked about working on the epic Marvel ensemble and mentioned getting to share the screen with Chris Pratt, a sign that Star-Lord will be resurrected in Avengers 4 and end up heading to Earth to meet Shuri.

"Chris Pratt was genuinely a great person," Wright says. "He would like give me bible scriptures out of nowhere and then do a dance and leave. He’s great. I love Chris Pratt." It is, of course, possible that the actress is simply referring to meeting the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star, but it's hardly surprising news that Peter returns if that is what's been revealed, as all of them are likely to come back.

What do you make of Wright's comments? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Wilding leading with this:

“Wright mentioned getting to share the screen with Chris Pratt, a sign that Star-Lord will be resurrected in Avengers 4.”

But ending the next sentence with this:

“It is, of course, possible that the actress is simply referring to meeting the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”

I know they were fighting in an open field but I still wish Spidey went with Team Cap to Wakanda. I know they wanted dramatic effect with Tony at the end, but there were more than enough characters in Wakanda where they could have switched that (emotional) focus with. We've already seen enough Tony/Peter.

I think it would have been fun too if Peter kept his mask on through the whole thing to protect his identity... although I have a feeling Sony and Tom Holland's manager wouldn't have liked that.

@Kurne - And Gamora going to the place where Thanos is also doesn't make sense

On the subject of both Starlord's return and Bible scriptures:

So we all know that everyone who Thanos' fingersnap turns to ash will survive and the heroes that survived it will all (yes all) bite the dust in the next one, right?

In this sense it's not so much a reverse rapture as it is a real rapture (all those that disappear are saved).

Well, in the Secret Wars reboot, there is a rapture in which lots of heroes disappear and are actually transported into an ark (another Biblical reference) to survive the end of the universe. Starlord is one of them.

His last words, as he disappears?
"Oh man...
Hurry, we need to...
What the..."

His last words before he disappears in Infinity War?
"Oh man..."

Awfully close. And since there's already a lot of Jonathan Hickman's Infinity in the film, it's not a stretch to think that this might be a direct refernce to his more superior work (IMO), Secret Wars.

I'm sure Anna Faris thought it cute when he did this with her. "It's part of his mating ritual, sweetie".

@GIGO - Letitia is a Christian, too, and a new one at that, so Pratt was probably just being nice.
