CAPTAIN MARVEL Star Samuel L. Jackson Believes He's Figured Out AVENGERS 4's Ending

Samuel L. Jackson had only a very minor role in Avengers: Infinity War but he's now revealed that his role in Captain Marvel has given him a very good idea of where things are going with Avengers 4...

Samuel L. Jackson may have shown up in Avengers: Infinity War and almost immediately turned to dust but the actor will have a much larger role in Captain Marvel, a 1990s set adventure which will shed some light on not only how he lost his eye but the S.H.I.E.L.D. Director's relationship with Carol.

Whether or not he'll factor into Avengers 4 remains to be seen but Captain Marvel will be helping out in the fight against Thanos and that's going to be a real game changer for Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

During a recent interview to promote the release of Incredibles 2, Jackson shared his thoughts on how the Avengers: Infinity War sequel will play out and shared his thoughts on what sort of impact Captain Marvel will have on proceedings. "Who’s really dead, and who’s really in the flaky wind of Marvel dust, I don’t know, but I do know there’s a solution that they didn’t even have to tell me, just because I know who Captain Marvel is and what all that means." So, yeah, she's saving the day!

It sounds like getting to see Captain Marvel in action is pretty much all that will be needed for us to get a better grasp of how the fight against the Mad Titan will play out and it very much sounds like she'll kick his ass and help make things right after the villain's "snap" decision. What do you think about the actor's remarks here? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Probably absorbs the gauntlet energy or something.

@MarvelDCAllDay - I would be surprised if there wasn't a scene of her taking a blast from the power stone and absorbing it to send it back at Thanos, but she wouldn't be able to overcome some of the other stones such as the time and reality ones.

@MarvelDCAllDay - Captain Marvel absorbing the gauntlet energy would literally be the only thing that doesn’t piss me off about her being “the most powerful being in the MCU”. Her being stronger than the Hulk (who’s supposed to be the strongest there is) and more powerful than a Thor that’s at least potentially more powerful than Odin is just wrong IMO. Carol’s powerful enough in the comics...I have no idea why they’re trying to overpower her this much in the MCU. I dunno if it’s a thing where they’re trying to make her even more powerful than Wonder Woman to one up her or what...but she didn’t need to be that. She was already a great character. And I’m afraid that she’ll just come in and make all of the other characters obsolete. She should be a tide turner...on the same level as Thor and Hulk...and along with Iron Man and the rest, that should be enough to defeat Thanos. She shouldn’t be able to come in and beat Thanos by herself.

@pharoahe22 - I’ll get hate, but I bet Disney is continueing the trend of diversity and woman power that’s really taken off on social media. Thus making Carol the strongest keeps in line with feminism and making sure it’s not always a white man who comes to the rescue.

@MuadDib - I wanna have faith that Marvel plays by it's own rules as opposed to social media interference.

@MarvelDCAllDay - I think she wears the Gauntlet or maybe a new since its damn near ruineed along with Thano's arm.

@MarvelDCAllDay - I hope she turned to dust so Tony can shine brighter than ever

@MuadDib - I get that...but I don’t think that they had to make her the most powerful character (when she isn’t in the comics) to do that. She was already mega-powerful and a badass. Just having her at her normal power level from the comics...and joining Thor, Iron Man and Hulk would have turned the tide. She could’ve saved the day at her normal levels. It just bugs me when they make major changes like this and differ than the comics. It throws off too many staples from the comics in my opinion. Now if they brought in a female Captain Universe for this, I would’ve had no issues. But Carol shouldn’t be the most power Avenger. She never has been in the books.

@pharoahe22 -
Feige's trying to overcompensate for coming in second to Wonder Woman.

@pharoahe22 - complaints and worries galore. And then you guys see the movie, love it because it's Russos and you forget you ever worried on cbm threads from a year prior

I’m scared they’re going to severely overpower Captain Marvel

@Armageddon26 - if they do for her solo, then the always balanced... always sensible Russos will find a way to level it out for avengers 4

In feige / Russos I trust

@Vigor - The Russos actually always seem to make the characters more powerful though. Almost every character in the MCU was at their peak.

She should never be able to defeat Thanos at singlehandedly
