Here's Why Marvel Studios Still Hasn't Revealed The Official Title Of AVENGERS 4

Marvel Studios hasn't revealed the title of Avengers 4, and now Kevin Feige has shed some light on the reason for it remaining under wraps despite Avengers: Infinity War being less than a year away...

We've seen little to nothing from Avengers: Infinity War but Avengers 4 - which is currently shooting in Atlanta - is even more secretive. The movie comes out in 2019 but doesn't even have a title and most of us have assumed that's because it will somehow spoil the events of its predecessor. We'll have to wait and see on that front but Kevin Feige has now shed some light on why it's being kept a secret.

Asked if the title is spoiler-ish or if we need to get through Avengers: Infinity War before learning it, he responded: "Yeah, I think some of that has been blown out of proportion. We do want the focus to be on Infinity War for now." It's clear that whatever Avengers 4 is called will get fans talking and that's why Marvel is keeping it under wraps for the time being. When exactly will they reveal it to us, though?

It could be right at the end of Avengers: Infinity War or even months after that but we can probably forget about it being this year. On the plus side, we do know the trailer is coming before 2017 ends.

@MrMurdock - Yeah - good point. If they're bringing in the whole skrull/kree invasion war thing

@OptimusGrime - I think having war in the title after Civil and infinity, would be too redundant

If it is Secret War, then yeah... don't tell people that. What kind of Infinity War immediately results in another war?

Its like The War to End All Wars, getting one-upped 20 years later...

It’s the Skrulls... that’s why Captian Marvel is set in the 90s and that is why she’ll come in at the end of IW or something and warn them that the Skrulls are back and some of the team could already be Skrulls. Can you imagine it ending like that “some of the people here aren’t who they seem” and the camer just goes to every character and they all look confused and then credits.

@Invasion96 - I believe you just spoiled the movie my friend. Makes perfect sense to me:

1. CaptainMarvel NEEDS the extra attention cameoing in the 1.5bil A:IW would give her.

2. To give her the Skrulls as main villains is a big deal. Marvel must surly have bigger plans for her and the skrulls.

I'm putting money on your theory for know.

@Invasion96 - the more I think about it the more since it makes. This will give people even more of a reason to watch a movie featuring a character they know nothing about. By making CM a direct tie to A4. Her movie becomes the events leading up to A4 instead of just being perceived as her own movie. It's both.

@Invasion96 - I know they announced the capt marvel will involve the Skrulls but they are def not gonna have some of the already established hero’s come out being Skrulls . Just don’t see that happening. People reading to much into this Skrulls thing

@Invasion96 - I always figured Iron man would be dealt a fatal blow at the end and when they remove his helmet he’s a Skrull.

I think they will reveal it at the end of the credits. But I dont think it'll be something with skrulls

"The avengers will return in [insert avengers 4 title hete]"

I just fully expect it to be a continuation of IW. Avengers 4 Infinity Gauntlet. First film is Thanos collecting the stones, maybe ending with Vision losing his stone and Thanos assembling the gauntlet, second film is dedicated to them trying to figure out what to do.

I wouldn't be surprised if a certain Tribunal showed up. One that was Living.

"Blown out of proportion"

So why does that make it seem "clear that it would get fans talking"? Kind of sounds like he is saying the opposite of that. Like it's just infinity war 2 or some shit.

I hope it's called "Avengers 4"

But the "4" stands for something special...

@BringFFtoMCU - That's what I was hoping. They are trying to beat Thanos and can only do so with the help of the Fantastic Four. That would be an absolutely awesome surprise if they can keep that under wraps before the picture comes out.

And depending on who you ask, some say that Reed Richards is the unnamed buyer of Avengers Tower in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
