RUMOR: AVENGERS 4 War Will Feature An Appearance From The Skrulls - Possible SPOILERS Ahead

The Skrulls are set to make their MCU debut in the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, but is there a chance they could also appear in Avengers 4?
That's the basis for a new rumor from MCU Cosmic's Jeremy Conrad, who suggests that the shape-shifting alien race will play a (very) small role in the film as they set-up the introduction of Carol Danvers to the story.
The Skrulls will reportedly also play a part in another well-known character's arc, but here's where things could get a bit SPOILER-Y.
Apparently, when we catch up with Clint Barton he'll be operating as Ronin in Japan, hunting down members of the Yakuza who also happen to be Skrulls. This would gel with previous reports that Japanese extras would have to be "comfortable wearing a facial prosthetic."
How likely is all of this? Well, the source has posted some nonsense in the past but he does seem to have been right about that Eternals movie that Marvel is planning, so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
If true, could this lay the groundwork for a Secret Invasion in The MCU, perhaps?
