It's Thor's pocket ship, Skidbladnir. It's how he gets back to Midgard, because Bifrost was destroyed.

It looks like one of the hover crafts from the Masters of the Universe movie. I am sure Dolph Lundgren is going to make a cameo now....

Maybe it is ET phoning home? LOL! Seriously, I think it is either Skrull (hope so) or Kree. I think we will enjoy whatever the hell it is.

It does look Asgardian, so it could be a version of Thor's chariot. Whether they go with the goats is debatable.

Its a chariot , the last pics had a blue stick that came out the front of it to let the fx guys know where a CG element should be in comparison to the on set prop. I think there is some sort or creature pulling it.

Top at and I are right. Thor was fighting on that set I bet he leaves the avengers earlier in the movie for some reason then comes back to help captin America in the city. I be he returns on his chariot.

@topcat, I don't think a chariot fits in the concepts behind the alien-asgardian introduced in Thor's movie.

It's a chariot. Look at the pictures posted last week. they clearly have the the blue painted wood on either side of that piece that stick out front where the CG creatures will go. Now who's chariot I dont know. Probably not thors but someone elses.

@Avalanche731 - I started it a while back before we knew about Loki's army. I was trying to be contrary to everyone saying it was the Skrulls :)

its kryptonian! zack snyders man of steel will ride on the success of the avengers to make it in the box office. LOL!

yes, it is the chariot of Thor, that is the ride he used to get to midgard, beacuse the rainbow bridge is out of commission, that's why he and ironman will fight. the goat can be holograms and impression of goats something like that.

Dam it, I wish I hadn't read the comments. It would have been friggen awesome to see this during the movie without expecting it. Spoiler Alert should be in the article title now.
