EDITORIAL: Future Avengers Post-Credits Scene Predictions

What Avengers teasers would you like to see in Marvel's upcoming features....???

Marvel’s post credit scenes have been a masterstroke. What better way is there to moisten the fans appetite? So, with that in mind let’s speculate about some future teasers that may feature in the lead up to the Avengers.

In ‘Thor’, I’d love to see Loki track down Banner and begin his Hulk manipulation as a post credit scene.

And....

It’s got to be the unfreezing of Cap as a post credit scene in ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ by Fury and maybe Stark (because undoubtedly he’ll be supplying the cryogenic technology). Basically, you want the full team already assembled at the start of the Avengers movie, so this will cut off a lot of unnecessarily wasted time at the beginning.

I think they'll probably need to have the thawing out of Cap at the end of the movie, finishing with a line from maybe Nick Fury saying, "He's alive."
I doubt they'd have it as an after credit scene because otherwise the end of the movie is basically just going to be Cap's "death". Then a load of people who don't read comics will leave the cinema thinking, "oh look they killed off the main character, that was dumb". Marvel Studios will want the audience to know that Cap's alive by the end of the movie.
I'd love two after credit scenes for Captain America.
The first being one which leads straight to the Avengers, not quite sure yet though.

But for the second I'd love to see a Russian boat in the North Atlantic. They're investigating an explosion they saw in the sky. The boat moves through the debris of a crashed plane in the water and one of the men shouts that he sees something. A couple of them hoist a dark shape onto the deck. The final shot shows a one armed Bucky Barnes lying there.

I like your idea for Thor.

well for thor i would rather see loki creating absorbingman,and thor having memory loss. cap has to be the unfreezing prosess,and maybe winter soldier in the shadows.i think that the skrull should not be in the first avengers film but they should be in the second.i think leader should be creating a army of super mutants,and free's abomination,and uses telepathy on hulk to make him lose control and banner eventually gains control.also leader could be the guy who creats ultron from one of starks suites. this should be a really long film to give everyone their screen time,and you would have alot of cool villains to go head to head with the heros.to be honest i think hollywood will go for the skrull,or/and leader, and leave out winter soldier,and absorbingman for good.these are the villains i would love to see appear in the avengers films.

cool article! They've already said that the Cap movie will take place in the present in the beginning and end of the film. So the thawing out of Cap will probably actually happen in the beginning of Cap, he'll wake up, then have a flashback of his WWII origins. Then it'll come back to present times with him becoming Captain America again. Thats how i see it happening anyway.

"Yes...master..."? That's too cheesy, I think there should just an obvious implication that Loki is controlling the Hulk if they go with that story.

For the Captain America movie I'd say

Make the scene similar to Ultimates or was it the animated movie can't remember

Cap being unfrozen, waking up being greeted by Stark and Fury, they try to explain the situation, Cap thinking its all a Nazi setup escapes, sees that he's either on the Hellicarrier or wherever...

Realizes it's all true, just asks Fury

Did we win?

Fury: We did Captain

the end

@Kaedus

Wouldn't Bucky need the super soldier serum in him? to be frozen like cap

is he enhanced with the serum in the comics?
I'm not too familiar with Bucky so that's why I ask

@Hamm3rtym3

thanks for the explanation, seems a bit overcomplicated on the Russians side though, I mean why use some guy frozen in a block of ice you just found, why not use one of your own men for them experiments or whatever... just sayin

If you go with the Hulk/Loki angle in Thor, then in the Cap movie I think that they should have Fury getting a report that the Hulk is destroying a city somewhere. Once he gets the news Cap yells his first AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
