I post it on saturday but it was deleted i don't know why but I'll give it another try.
I was on the Dr.Pepper Avengers website and there's this game you can play and it's against the Skrulls.

I think that the Skrulls are just serving as marketing's 'go-to' alien race, as a way of avoiding a reveal of the film's actual villains. Joss Whedon already denied the presence of any Skrulls or Kree; he could be lying, but I doubt it.

Joss has said himself that Marvel Skrull want to leave for later. They need a trump card up its sleeve. So it's just a coincidence nothing more.

What if the aliens there showing in the trailers are just a first wave, Loki says he has an army, that could be many species, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the skrulls show up

While I actually jumped off of the skrull train a a while ago... cmon guys it seems pretty likely that they wil be incolved in SOME capacity. With the canceled game, heroclix, and this all reporting skrulls, cmon. Also its not like Joss and Kevin Feige couldn't possibly have LIED. Is there anything that says tht they have to tell the thruth about anything? If it was in the best interest of the film to lie they could have. Also remember that Tom Hiddleston said Loki has made shady "deals" (plural) to ge his army. There could be more than one race invovled in the invasion and they are just throwing everyone off by showing only one. I'm not sayin its fact that they are in it but again its not like Whedon and Feige NEED to be honest you just take everything they say at face value...

I JUST THINK IT MORE UNDER THE SURFACE THAN WE KNOW..

ALSO THEY DIDNT JUST "RANDOMLY" SHOWCASE THE INFINITY GAUNTLET FOR NO REASON...THIS MOVIE BRANCHES OFF IN MANY DIRECTIONS

Yeah, the Thor version of this has him against the midgard serpent I believe. Same stuff with Cap, villains which aren't in the movie. Probably the same stuff with this.

That said, this was a fun game. I beat it pretty easily but that's to be expected. :) Still fun game.

It reminds of an SNES game. Hmmm, that's the second time Skrulls have been used in the marketing.

The first being the HeroClix Skrull Infiltrator.
