I'm sure enough of us have seen The Punisher: War Zone, correct?

I'm Sure many of us weren't too impressed, correct?

Well get ready for change!
On JoshW's SDCC article featuring three Thor interveiws, and one very, very dramatic Avengers interview, (in which you can find this mentioning of the Punisher), Kevin Feige himself announces that Frank will " eventually work his way into the Avengers cinematic universe."

So, how exactly will he contribute to Avengers' trials and tribulations?

Will he be that random figure which, unexpectedly, saves the day?

Will he be a solo anti-hero, thorning the Avengers in their over-all victory until Steve Rogers or Tony Stark or, and especially, Nick Fury force him away?

There is so much speculation about the Avengers right now, it's hard to tell.
And, "Frank"ly, it's hard to keep up with it all!

what do you make of it?

I know I sound like a broken record but Punisher NEEEEEDS to be a Showtime or HBO series instead of another bombtastic movie. Punisher just isn't good for films but perfect for a Sopranos/Dexter formatted show.

yes thomas jane, we don't need another hulk-esque treatment for Punisher.
Jane said he'd do a punisher sequel but since War Zone script was crap, he stayed away from it.

If not Jane then let it simmer down until like 2015 and bring on a good punisher movie.

that would be sweet if they decided to do somwhat of a Ultimate avengers approach. throw spidey in there along with wolverine and maybe a few others....fantastic four could make a cameo since they are just alright.

by the way THOMAS JANES PUNISHER was the best. THey shoulda stuck with him for a grittier sequel.

i can see where you all would doubt it, and i would too, if Kevin Feige had not announced himself that:"the punisher will eventually work his way into the avengers".

i could care less, but as i said before, i do care much for the success of the avengers.

@naterator:

sorry to say it but Spider-man, Wolverine, and Fantastic Four's rights are all held by the horrifying studio entitled: FOX, 20th century
