I think this may actually be funny. Brand is pretty good in front of the camera, Guzman is great, and Helen Mirren is in it for God's sake!

They are remaking Arthur!!!! Is nothing sacred in hollywood?!!!! This is the worst news I have ever heard the original was one of the funniest movies ever made and I encourage all of you not familiar with it to steal it off the intertubes!

They are remaking Arthur? The Dudley Moore movie with him as the drunk playboy? WHY? The original is a very funny movie, largely because of Moore's performance. Moore is a very underappreciated comedian, imo. I've seen him in quite a few movies and almost always enjoyed his performances (didn't care for Best Defense as I recall, but that was more due to a bad script than Moore's performance). I just don't know of any comedians today who could pull the role of Arthur off convincingly and make him as likable as Moore did. Times are also very different now. Back when the movie was made, people were a lot more tolerant of the hard-drinking playboy than they are now.

Dylan: Agreed with all except the stealing part. The original movie is only $6.49 on Amazon, and well worth every penny.

Get rid of the nopples and the Bat-suit looks better than the one in TDK! I just hate Nolans' Bat-Suits. The first Batman movie (Michael Keaton) had the best costume to this day IMO.

CBArtist: Agreed about hating Nolan's Rubbermaid bat-suits. They look like the floor mats in my previous car come to life.

I'd honestly say that the best Bat-suit in a live-action movie, in its resemblance to the one actually seen in the comics, is the one Adam West wore in the 1966 movie. Of the more recent film series, I would agree that Keaton's costume was the best.
