Over the last few years after Arkham Knight has released, we have seldom heard of what Batman: Arkham Series developer Rocksteady has planned. We have heard rumors of another Batman game, a Justice League Game, a Damian Wayne Batman game, a Suicide Squad game and even a Harry Potter game. Needless to say people have been hungry for more faithful and excellentally made games based on comic book heroes. We had a treat with Insomniac's Spider Man coming out earlier this year. Since I unfortuanately do not have a PS4, I have not been able to play Spider Man. So, instead of joining in on that fun, I decided to replay Arkham Knight to get my superhero gaming fill. After beating the fantastic game, I have started to think of ideas for Rocksteady's next venture, Whatever that may be.

Batman Beyond: The Clown of Arkham
This game would be set 35 years after the events of Arkham Knight and be a reboot of the critically acclaimed Batman Beyond Animated Series. Terry McGinnis would be taking up the mantle of the Batman once again. He would be in his 3rd year donning the cowl in place of his exiled and thought to be dead predeccessor, Bruce Wayne and the recently retired second Batman, Dick Grayson. The game would feature a massive open world futuristic Gotham City complete with Arkham City, Asylum and Knight maps combined into one with an all new part of the map(likely Bludhaven) of the same size accross the bay along with a new Batcave in Bludhaven where Dick Grayson rebuilt it after it was deystroyed in Gotham during the events of Arkham Knight. This could be Bludhaven or just another part of Gotham. The city would look like a more Technologically advanced version of Tokyo combined with the feel of a Chicago. The villan would be the Joker with secondary villians from Batman Beyond's rogues gallery. The story would go over multiple days instead of the "one long night" trope that we are used to in the Arkham games. It would be a loose retelling of one of the most iconic animated films ever released by DC, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. The cast of the famous animated series would ideally return.
