Rumor has it that Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote, State and Main) is in talks to play the Penguin the Batman Begins sequel, according to Batman-on-Film.

Hoffman's old high school drama teacher reportedly told a Rochester, N.Y. TV station that Hoffman was up for the part, while discussing his recent Golden Globe nomination for Capote.

We've heard the Penguin will be an arms dealer in Gotham City, working with the Mob and sometimes at war with the Joker.

This seems to be an interesting movie. Penguin the Batman Begins sequel is incredibly to wait for. For the meantime, I am busy soaring the web about the nomination of the Golden Globe Awards 2010. The Golden Globe nominations for 2011 were formally declared Tuesday early morning. The usual suspects were on the list, which includes arthouse hit "Black Swan" and Television sensation "Glee". A few shocks were in the nominations collection, however, including “The Tourist”.
