Chance of an actor or actress from The Dark Knight Rises winning or even being nominated for any awards this year are probably slim, but if I had to pick one that was most deserving, it would be Anne Hathaway. Her performance in Chris Nolan's final Batman film was multi-layered, giving us a Selina Kyle that was anything but predictable. She elevated virtually every scene that she was in. For me she stole the show, paws down.

The Dark Knight Rises will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download on December 4th. The film stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John "Robin" Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul.

Batman should have let her use a gun that would be badass.

She was the best part of the movie; beautiful. They should have given us more CATWOMAN:

Anne
Hatthaway

And, less of this [Talia and Bane rubbish]:

Hathaway did a TREMENDOUS job as Selina Kyle in this movie. It was great to finally see a Catwoman that was true to the spirit of the character-- who wasn't a schizophrenic dominatrix with identity issues, but rather a driven, self-reliant woman who'd just been hardened by a cruel and callous world (but who was none the less slinky and seductive as hell).

Say what you will about The Dark Knight Rises as a whole, but Hathaway's Catwoman was a masterstroke-- right up there with Ledger's Joker, IMO.

Best Catwoman portrayal! Probably the best part of the movie for me.

I love and adore her act as Catwoman and all the dedication that she did for the part. Nolan want her to did the fight sequence for herself and she prepared herself physically and mentally also work close with the fight choreographer and stunt woman, training for 3 months before the shot!

Yeah, try to watch the movie again when this come out on Blu, you'll see and appreciate her effort and dedication again and again to look convincingly on screen.

Hathaway and Hardy both stole the show for me. I had never really doubted Hardy, but I was skeptical on Anne and I was so happy to be proven wrong. She was definitely my favorite parts of this movie

I agree with the fox.
In essence, she is perfection. She just doesn't have a whip or claws right?

Nonetheless Oscar worthy.

Hathaway was great. Had my doubts about Catwoman in this world but it worked beautifully.

I was one of those people who was skeptical of Anne at first, but I was happily proven wrong with her performance. She did great!

@TheNerdicon: Cats have helped Bats more than one occasion in his history in comics. Is that a surrogate then?

Derezzed - lmao.Les miserables isn't even out yet Sherlock.
Hathaway hit her beats perfectly. She played a perfect combination of big and small. Flash AND substance.
She deserves at the very least a nomination, if not a win.

She nailed the character.
She had the same personality as she does in the comic books and Arkham City

Well, for one, I don't owe you an explanation.

I'm a DC Fan.

However, I'll enlighten you (but you need to stop resorting to name calling). I took NOMIS' back when everyone on this site was jumping down his backside for hating XM:FC and Bryan Singer. Now, I don't feel as strongly as he does, and I did find some enjoyment in those movies. But, he is entitled to his opinion.

And, he genuinely loves this movie for almost every reason that he hates Bryan Singers (it strays from the comics, costumes aren't up to snuff, etc). But, he is being honest, MARVEL fan and all, he LOVES this movie. And, yes I find that to be hilarious.

It's his slogan, he uses it all the time, and it is funny.

Derezzed -lol. I ain't mad at ya pimpin. I've seen sum Les miserables footage of hers and im not disputing that it does look good. That voice!
What im sayin is NOBODY this year left a mark like Ledger's Joker but she gave a memorable and much talked about/praised performance. No one is comparing her to Winslet who is great but btw older. So if you don't knock it off! pick it up...knock it off again. Lol

This movie sucked, not faithfull at all to Bat's story(8 years off and fake robin were my biggest problems, but certainly not the only). And to all the nutgrabbers still bowing in worship to this trainwreck of a movie, get over it. Get the kool aid out of your system, grow up, read some actual bats books. Btw catwoman sucked too. She does not work on a movie screen. She only works in comics because the patient pacing of comic story telling allows for all the catwoman bs. But when you only have afew hours to work with, catwoman's sexy slinky crap brings all the action to a screeching hault. Rotten socialist stole his mom's pearls, stole his car, sold him out to bane...and he still 'saw good in her'?...WTF
