The Piano Guys Compose Every BATMAN Theme Into One

The Piano Guys Compose Every BATMAN Theme Into One

To celebrate the 50th anniversary, the musical group known as "The Piano Guys" perform a piano and cello rendition of the theme music from Adam West's Batman series, Tim Burton's Batman movies, and TDK Trilogy. Come on and listen!

"Holy hemiola, Batman! 50 years of music and film all rolled together in front of the cars that have become icons of super hero history. This is one of those projects we’ve wanted to do from the very beginning of The Piano Guys. We love super heroes, the dramatic music that has brought them to life, and the vivid films that have made them legends. We used piano, cello, handheld cameras, a radio controlled helicopter, and some scrappy special effect techniques in the most creative ways possible to emulate the three epic eras of one of the greatest super heroes ever created: BATMAN!"

Feeling the nostalgia? I am! So what did you guys think?

I gave you the thumbs up ahead of time. I'm assuming you'll fix that embedded video.

Until then, here it is for anyone who hasn't seen it

No worries on the video not embedding correctly, it's tough for the first-timers.

Still, I saw this video the other day and it's absolutely glorious. Love, love, LOVE the way they weave each theme into the next one so smoothly.

Also, Batfleck's character very well could be better than Christian Bale's...but I have a hard time believing that his Batman theme could be better than The Dark Knight trilogy's. Though I think I remember hearing that Hans Zimmer is composing the score for Batman v Superman too? That'll be weird.

Instead of "compose" in the headline, maybe "arrange"?

You know, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin may not be the best ones but Elliot Goldenthal provided a great score that I think is overlooked.

This is a really cool video.

I wish they included the Batman Forever theme, it was the best thing about that movie.

How can you say this is every batman theme without any of the Animated themes? What about the Arkham Video Game?

Danny Elfman's Batman theme is the definitive Batman theme.

Apocalyptica should do something like this.

Very good, but Elliot Goldenthal´s theme should be included. "Batman Forever" is a decent Batman movie and shouldn´t be ignored.

Now, if we´re to be more complete, Shirley Walker theme on later seasons of the animated series and animated movie "Mask of the Phantasm" is also brilliant.

The Danny Elfman Batman theme for the Tim Burton movies was the only thing good about those movies but ventures a little too Phantom of the Opera in its direction for Batman. Still one of the best ever written for any comic book character.

Hans Zimmerman's beautiful theme for the Dark Knight Trilogy is a little too understated to be definitive although it works for the conception of the grounded reality less campy comic book delivery of the character.

The Animated Series version is the most definitive version for me, Shirley Walker this time gets it right especially for the Mask of Phantasm Score.

And then there is Michael McCuiston's Batman & Mr Freeze Subzero score for the 1998 animated movie. That had the music for the Batwing which probably takes the crown for the most under appreciated Batman theme ever.

It kicks in around the 3:10 minute mark of the end credits. Superb!

I love those music themes. Those are great themes. I can't choose one over another. But hey... where is Joel's Batman theme. I think despite Batman n Robin is worst ever , the music theme is decent.
