Further Proof from the new Captain America Trailer that HYDRA will not replace the Nazi's

At one point we all thought that there would be no nazi's in the movie, but here is more proof that HYDRA is not replacing the Nazi's.

I looked at this article that came out quite a while ago:

Will Captain America be fighting Nazis' in his upcoming movie?
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/captain_america/news/?a=23654

Some fans thought that HYDRA would replace the nazis' in a sort of alternate history/timeline where no nazis' existed and we didn't like the idea of that as we saw no sign of nazis' in previous images, TV spots, first trailer but only HYDRA. As the article pointed out, the Super Soldier game had HYDRA swastika's and banners replacing Nazi swastika's and banners. But in the latest trailer we have solid proof that there will be Nazis' and HYDRA are not replacing them.

When I firsr saw this shot in the trailer and I saw the HYDRA swastika's and banners I thought that the article was right with HYDRA replacing the nazis' as there should be Nazi banners and swastika's.

When I saw this Nazi in the trailer wearing the swastika, I was relieved that Nazi's are definitly in the movie and HYDRA is a third party and the HYDRA swastika's and banners only exist in the HYDRA base/hideout.

Yeah, I think most of us are pretty fine with this by now. At the beginning it was seeming a little bit off because we just heard hydra, hydra, hydra. And it didn't help that Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes completely substituted the Nazis for Hydra.

Yeah, I remember Joe Johnston confirmed the Nazis himself, when he captioned the pic with Toby Jones and Hugo. As a matter of fact, I think the 2nd pic is another look at the scene Johnston described.

According to the trailer Hydra is the Nazi's lead science division where they make genetic experiments and make state of the art technologies.

If you listen to Peggy Carter in the trailer, Hydra is a Nazi led subdivision of Science (something of that nature) so Nazi is mentioned.

Also in the first trailer you will hear Tommy Lee Jones say "I want to personally send Adolf Hitler to the gates of Hell."

Nazi's will be in this its WWII.

EMH might not use Nazi's cause it is a kids show on Disney XD, to some people talking about Nazi's is a sensitive subject, there are still people who are Holucost survivors and have lost families in it as well.

There'll be Nazi's; but we probably won't see too many of them, because the focus here is supposed to be on Cap and the Invaders fighting off Hydra. Maybe the war ends, Red Skull carries on with his work and prepares his gunship thingy, and then that's when Cap makes his last stand against Hydra in the movie? Maybe Nazi's will be everywhere until the end?

I think the focus on hydra is because they want to say the reason Cap didn't go directly against hitler and end the war early is because he had his hands full with the hydra nut jobs.

Nazi's are in the movie, steve joins up because he wants to take the Nazi's down. There not the main focus of the movie but there in the movie. I've heard rumours that Skull goes rogue with Hydra and seperates from the Nazi's when looks like there getting the shit kicked out of them and apparently he kills a couple of Nazi officers too. So yes Nazi's are there but the main focus isn't that. Its the battle Between early version of SHIELD and Hydra essentially set with in WW2 taking an event and weaving there own story in to it just like First Class did.

Caps goes around the USO circuit promoting the war against the Nazi's. So they are there, they haven't been replaced there not the main focus but they'll be there in the back ground

Small Spoiler...

You know in the first pic the hallway looks like the one in the end credits of Thor. Could it be the same building? I doubt it. Shield headquarters in Germany? I think im wrong, it just looks like it.

look at the U.S. military. we have 5 branches, each with a specific task, uniform style, and rank structure. does the Army have the same uniforms as the Navy? does the Marines have the same uniforms as the Air Force? Hydra is a division of the German army. and just like all military's, each of its branches have different tasks and functions as well as uniforms. that's how the film makers are trying to get you to see Hydra.
@Nephillim your argument is dumb because Captain America wasn't real either.

The swastika will be removed in German theaters, though. All Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany. Anyone in possession of Nazi artifacts can be punished, by law.

"Some fans thought that HYDRA would replace the nazis' in a sort of alternate history/timeline where no nazis' existed"

Who the Hell ever said that? Nobody thinks that. Nobody. All people were wondering was if we'd see Nazis in the movie as the enemy CAP was fighting against personally, or if he would just go up against HYDRA. In other words, would Cap mow down some Nazis or only HYDRA (I'm hoping for lots of both). Nobody has ever suggested an alternate universe that was devoid of Nazis altogether. Where the Hell did you hear that??
