After the events of Forever Evil in April the DC universe will be going through some major changes. As part of those changes many series will get cancelled, renamed and some new series will come out.

The first of those series has just been announced as being the master of terror himself the villain/anti hero Sinestro. Further expanding the Green Lantern family along with the addition of Orange Lantern Larfleeze which debuted some months ago.

The last we saw of Sinestro was after the final momentous issue of Geoff Johns.Sinestro finally put an end to the guardians by murdering them all. As well as absorbing the fear entity known as Parallax and mastering the entity becoming the true master of fear.

Most recently Sinestro has made his return to earth in the pages of Forever Evil confronting Power ring and as teased will probably join Lex Luthor's rebel team of villains against the crime syndicate.

The creative team will consist of writer Cullen Bunn and artist Dale Eaglesham, will bring this series to you. This should not come as a surprise as Eaglesham penciled the Sinestro #1 issue in Villains month back in September.

Newsrama has confirmed some information on the new series

"the new series finds Sinestro desperate having lost everything he’s ever loved – his home, family, and his only friend.

But his one-time enemy/one-time Sinestro Corps recruit Lyssa Drak (who played a prominent role in September’s Sinestro Villains Month one-shot) reminds him he’ll always have fear."

Sinestro will debut on April 16.

Awesome I thought he would have been part of the original 52 so good.

Sinestro is one of the most charismatic super villains and I always liked what they did with him since Rebirth

Niiiiice!Love this idea of giving the Galaxy's most bad-ass motherf**ker his own book. Can't wait to see what they'll do with the character and Dale Eaglesham's artwork is the icing on the cake.I think I've got a new favorite book to read now.

Also heard that The Joker and Lex Luthor are getting their own books soon.If it's true, bring it DC,it's all good!

Pretty excited about this. Something new and different is good.

Sinestro is an awesome character and the Green Lantern universe is vast with so much potential.

I'll definitely be picking up the first issue and hopefully will continue to if the series is good.

Hell yes! I love Sinestro and the idea of having the seven corps all attempting to patrol the sectors and enforce THEIR separate concepts of justice should be interesting.
