COMICS: Cover to Ultimate Fallout #4 reveals some surprising details!

Could this be the first time the new Ultimate Spider-Man puts on the suit?

Thanks to the folks over at Bleeding Cool for the heads up! This seems to show a different Spidey costume, throwing away all the blue and replacing it with black. However this is still completely different to the radical redesign we have seen earlier.

There also seems to be a nod to Amazing Spider-man #50's 'Spider-man No More' story line. Or simply it could just be referring to Peter Parker's recent death. Either way this raises some questions on the nature of the Rebirth of the Ultimate Universe.

at least ultimate spiderman wasnt in 10 different books at once! 616 spidey is an avenger, on future foundation, fighting carnage with iron man, substituting the thunderbolt kids, fighting venom (flash) to save betty, teaming with antivenom against mr negative, dealing with "fear itself", and infesting spider island all in one week!

I agree with Maki... I stopped reading the older Spider-Man title awhile back. It's too convoluted, and Marvel seems more intent on shoving other titles down my throat than on writing a great Spider-Man book. I have no interest in the Avengers, or the Fantastic whatever-it-is-now, or a Venom comic, or Fear Itself or a Civl War etc. etc. And the changes to continuity are stupid, at least in my opinion. Norman Osborne is alive again? The Jackal and a mazillion clones are floating around? It's just too much.

Since its inception, Ultimate Spider-Man has been the "real" Spider-Man comic for me. The story has stayed consistent, and nothing has ever been "un-written." The rest of the Ultimate titles have been nearly as good, and without being forced to by pointless tie-ins I've willingly and happily purchased every single book with an Ultimate imprint. Taken as a whole it makes for a grand and cohesive story, without resurrections or reboots or changes to continuity, and I'm glad to see it continuing.
