While a lot of the news is quick tidbits some substantial stuff came about. Here is the rundown of what's going on:

"Now focusing on Nick Spencer who's writing IRON MAN 2.0. Discussing how the Immortal Weapons showed up and were in the book. Lots of setup stuff. Nick loves the Immortal Weapons characters
post-Fear Itself, big stuff on tap."

"Looking at the August 2011 Fear Itself tie-in covers. Hawkeye & Spider-Woman smoooooching."

Squirrel Girl takes center stage in New Avengers

M.O.D.O.K is going to be a big player in Hulk

Bigger News:

Battle Scars to kick off: The art will be by Johnny Romita Jr. It's a book that will show the big, terrifying effects of Fear Itself. Wacker drew a paralel; in real life, the way the world handles things after a war ends, what happens the day after the biggest battles, the ends of wars? We'll feel the effects of FI for a while.

SHATTERED HEROES. one-shots with Cap, Iron Man and Thor, showing how they come back form the war and what's going on with them.

Jason Aaron and Marc Silvestri are tackling INCREDIBLE HULK #1 starting in October. It's stated that the beast/monster part of Hulk is the good part, the Banner part is the mad, crazy dude. Before it was an internal battle. Now it explodes out into the Marvel U in a very real way. First arc is called "Hulk Asunder." Where there was once a single being, now there are two. They try to go their own ways, but things aren't quite that simple. INCREDIBLE HULK #1 is the first step on the road to a big big big Banner/Hulk throwdown.

And Finally: Those teaser posters It's Either In Your Or Not is for The Defenders. Dr. Strange, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Red She-Hulk, and others they we won't know about for a while team up in the new Defenders series.

Updated: We now have teaser photos for Fear Itself 7, Shattered Heroes and Battle Scars thanks to Bleedingcool

Wonder why Thor's in that Battle Scars teaser there, but some other (new?) guy is in this one:

I really hate "johnny" romita's artwork. He should not do mainstream comics anymore.

not liking the Hulk being portrayed backwards. Go to the Ultimate U if you want a bloodthirsty murderous Hulk and a psycho crazy Banner. Leave the 616 as it is supposed to be: Banner is quiet unassuming calm half and the Hulk is the pent up rage and attitude.

Squirrel Girl needs better publicity. Seriously. She needs a good writer with a keen story arc because her abilities are certainly very capable. She is a mutant with rather specific abilities that shouldn't get her very far in life but she's used them very competently and also creatively. Hate to admit it, but leaving the Great Lakes Avengers was probably the best career move she's had in a while.
