CYBORG: Concept Artist Reveals Warner Bros. Once Wanted Drake To Star In Unmade TV Series

Concept artist Jared Krichevsky has revealed that he was once tasked with working on an unmade Cyborg DC TV series, and Warner Bros. was looking to cast best-selling music artist Drake as Victor Stone.

Drake is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor who has sold more than 170 million records. He's also won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, a record 29 Billboard Music Awards, two Brit Awards, and three Juno Awards, all while holding several Billboard Hot 100 chart records.

So, yeah, he's kind of a big deal!

It's now come to light that the musician very nearly made his way into the DC Extended Universe. According to concept artist Jared Krichevsky, he was tasked with transforming Drake into Victor Stone for an unmade DC TV series. There's no word on what this show was going to be, though we can't imagine it was either Titans or Doom Patrol given what a huge star he is.

It's also unclear when Warner Bros. was looking to make this Cyborg project a reality. Up until fairly recently, Ray Fisher remained attached to the role and there was a time the studio planned to give the cybernetic superhero his own movie. However, the actor has had major issues with them since Joss Whedon's Justice League reshoots, so it may have been around that time.

As of right now, Cyborg's future remains a mystery. There had been plans for him to make a cameo appearance in The Flash, but for the time being, he appears to have been put on the shelf.

Check out what Drake could have looked like as the Justice League member below:

So do WB just go out looking for the most problematic people or is it all just a crazy coincidence?

@Twenty23Three - How is Drake problematic?

@LeonNova - have a quick look at his behaviour around young/underage girls. Whilst he’s not explicitly done anything illegal (that I’m aware of) his behaviour is very questionable

@Kumkani - They need to cast Pusha T as the main villain and have the series explore the idea of fatherhood as a Certified Part-Machine

I mean, he was an actor first, but he hasn’t done anything since Degrassi, so IDK. This sounds pretty off-the-wall nonetheless lol.
