Hey everybody. In case you missed it, the preview of my upcoming story Allegiance is right here!

http://comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=49296

And for those of you who don't feel like clicking on the link, Allegiance is an upcoming epic 100-part story written by me, Doug Ferris. I wrote Allegiance over the last three years, and finally, I am going to post it on CBM starting December 1st. But as a gift from me to you, in the spirit of teasers, I will be presenting previews of the upcoming story right here all the way up until Allegiance's premiere on CBM on December 1st.

You're welcome.

And now here is a short list and some details of characters I will use in the story! Enjoy.

First off, what would any epic DC adventure be without The Man of Steel, SUPERMAN!

Superman, as you know, is the last son of the mysterious planet, Krypton. He is extremely popular worldwide and is the archetype, no, the epitome of all Superheroes, and as such, he will play a large part in the story. In Allegiance, we will discuss the dynamics of Superman, as he finally is forced to come to grips with his legacy as a hero in the wake of a preventable murder by the serial killer Toyman. Stricken with guilt, Superman is forced to face a Metropolis that has come to hate him. And in the wake of a cataclysmic invasion by the evil overlord, Darkseid, we will finally discover just how far Superman is willing to go to protect his city and the people he loves...

Also, I can promise that the GREEN LANTERN CORPS will also play a large part in Allegiance as well.

The Green Lantern Corps is a unit of intergalactic peacekeepers composed of thousands of interstellar species, all given power through their great Green Power Rings, devices that allow the wearer to create anything, powered by the emotion of will. In Allegiance, The Green Lantern Corps will play a large part in the defense of Earth against Darkseid’s massive invasion. But as the story unfolds, the Lanterns soon discover that a much more sinister plot is taking hold that could mean the end of the Corps all together…
Members of the Corps will include:
Hal Jordan, the first human Green Lantern.
John Stewart, Jordan’s successor and great friend.
Kilowog, an aggressive veteran Green Lantern that is a model member of the Corps who is responsible for tutoring Green Lantern recruits.

And of course, how could we forget the Dark Knight himself, BATMAN.

Batman is Bruce Wayne, a billionaire whose parents were murdered in front of him, shattering his childhood and resulting in a lifelong journey towards a life of heroism, using the guise of a bat to inspire fear in the hearts of criminality. In Allegiance, Batman plays a key part in defending the world from Darkseid’s invasion, but because a description of how he would do this would reveal a major plot point of the story, I won’t speak any more of it.

But of course we can’t have a superhero story this massive without a dangerous cast of villains can we?

As you’ve probably figured out from above, the main villain of this story is, who else? The Apokoliptan God himself, DARKSEID.

Darkseid is the greatest threat life in the DC Universe has ever known. In all senses of the word, a God, Darkseid hails from the planet Apokolips, a planet composed of nothing but war and chaos. Dreaming of one day conquering all life in the Universe, Darkseid has concocted a dastardly plan to destroy Earth, the one planet that stands in his way of universal dominance. By assembling a force of Earth’s greatest and most dangerous criminal masterminds, Darkseid enacts an elaborate scheme that culminates in a worldwide invasion of Earth.

But Darkseid is not alone. For allied with him are some of the most dangerous people to ever live, and among these criminals is the one and only Clown Prince of Crime, the JOKER.

The true definition of a psychopath, the Joker is one of the most dangerous men to ever live. His victims numbering in the triple digits, The Joker believes in anarchy purely for the sake of anarchy. Sporting a sadistic mind behind a sadistic grin, The Joker plays a large part in Allegiance, inviting himself into Darkseid’s collection of criminal masterminds, as his methods of extreme chaos and anarchy take effect in the Apokoliptan God’s plans.

Another member of this evil alliance of villains is none other than the Man Who Broke the Bat himself, BANE!

Years ago, a child living in the Central American country of Santa Prisca was imprisoned for his revolutionist father’s crimes against the government. Life in prison hardened the once-innocent child, morphing him into the precise, methodic, focused killing machine that is Bane. Physically enhanced by the steroid Venom, Bane proves himself a terrible threat to those who oppose him. A genius of near-superhuman capacity, Bane takes a large role in the planning of the invasion of Earth. But, unknown to all the other villains as well as Darkseid, Bane secretly has his own plans of turning against his allies in dreams of ultimate power…

So that is it for my second preview of Allegiance! What did you guys think? Leave a comment below with your thoughts and any questions you may have. And be on the lookout for more previews of Allegiance!

Allegiance arrives December 1st…
