Karl and the Max, the day is January
tenth and it’s Sunday morning five
past nine. We’re going to play
Separate Ways by Journey.
FADE IN:
EXT. CITY SKYLINE - DAY
After a short night snowfall the city is calmer then it usually is.
Over the city and through the buildings flies VALKYRIE, wearing the yellow and white armor.
In VALKYRIE’S helmet plays the radio as he jets through the city keeping his eye out for any dangers.
COLD OPEN:
INT. SCHOLAR’S DEN - DAY
Behind the counter of his shop WITCH CRAFT works, filling out a couple forms trying to wake up next to a cup of hot chocolate.
LILIUM walks in, there’s a strong tension between them.
WITCH CRAFT stays quiet as he watches LILIUM.
LILIUM
Hey.
WITCH CRAFT
How you doing LILLY?
LILIUM
We need to talk.
WITCH CRAFT lays the papers on the counter and focuses on LILIUM.
WITCH CRAFT
What would you like talk about?
LILIUM
I know we’ve been having some
disagreements, but I do have fun
being with you.
WITCH CRAFT
Tell you the truth; I have fun with you
too.
LILIUM
Tell you what; want to just hang out
for a bit?
WITCH CRAFT
I would but I don’t have much time
today, got work and all, EMBER’S at
school today.
LILIUM
Ah, maybe another time then.
LILIUM turns back towards the door.
WITCH CRAFT
Wait.
LILIUM
Yeah.
WITCH CRAFT walks from behind the counter and to the door, he flips the open sign to say closed.
WITCH CRAFT puts his hand on LILIUM’S lower back and pulls her closer as she starts to passionately kiss him.
With LILIUM in WITCH CRAFT’S arms he teleports the two of them upstairs to his apartment.
COLD OPEN:
EXT. CITY STREET - DAY
PEOPLE walk about the streets of New York City, a thin coat of snow covers the ground as a large snow plow drives over the road.
A large car erupts in a fiery explosion, and then another, as a MAN in a bulky heavily armed wearing a yellow and black mechanical suit.
The MAN in the armored suit raises his arms and fires bullets out into the cars parked along the street.
PEOPLE run in panic as the MAN destroys everything he can around him.
A loud metal clang slams behind the MAN as VALKYRIE lands.
The MAN turns around to face off with VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE
Hold it man, what’s up with this,
having a bad day?
THUNDER
Good to see you again.
VALKYRIE
Right, well, I don’t know you, but I
feel like I need to ask, where did you
get the super suit?
THUNDER
You really don’t recognize me huh?
VALKYRIE
Nope.
THUNDER
Just call me THUNDER.
THUNDER braces himself to take on VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE raises his hands ready to battle this man names THUNDER.
THUNDER charges up his right hand with electricity and blasts forward, he smashes his fist into VALKYRIE discharging electricity.
VALKYRIE is knocked back and slides into the ground, he staggers as he starts to stand.
THUNDER starts to walk towards VALKYRIE who thrusts his hands out blasting lightning into THUNDER blowing him back.
VALKYRIE stands up straight aiming the dual arm guns towards THUNDER waiting for him to get up.
THUNDER quickly stands and launches a missile from his arm; the missile detonates on VALKYRIE blowing him back into a parked car.
VALKYRIE stumbles as his body is ached with pain, he sees THUNDER walking towards him.
THUNDER starts to fly towards VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE takes off, he flies only a little faster then THUNDER.
VALKYRIE cuts his jets and flips around firing both dual arm guns into THUNDER who covers his face with his arm.
VALKYRIE falls towards the ground but switches back on his jets to begin flying.
THUNDER flies down towards VALKYRIE and slams into him.
VALKYRIE and THUNDER crash into the pavement.
VALKYRIE puts his knee into THUNDER and flips him over.
THUNDER gets up and rushes over to VALKYRIE, he starts punching VALKYRIE as hard as he can.
VALKYRIE double punches THUNDER and blasts lightning into THUNDER’S armor.
THUNDER stumbles as the electricity surges through the armor.
VALKYRIE stands and kicks THUNDER, pinning him down and slams his fist into THUNDER’S helmet.
THUNDER charges up his fist with electricity and with one hard punch he discharges it into VALKYRIE throwing him back on the ground.
VALKYRIE stands up.
THUNDER gets to his feet.
VALKYRIE
ALAN.
THUNDER
Nice to see you remember my name.
VALKYRIE
Why wouldn’t I?
THUNDER
You left the program, they want their
property back.
VALKYRIE
The suit is mine.
THUNDER
The good doctor made that suit, we
can’t match many of its abilities, but I
can still destroy you.
VALKYRIE
You won’t get this suit, I won’t break
that promise.
THUNDER
I bested you before.
VALKYRIE
Not really the same thing is it, that
was a hand to hand duel.
THUNDER
It won’t make a difference.
THUNDER flies towards VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE swings at THUNDER but he evades.
THUNDER grabs VALKYRIE and throws him.
VALKYRIE rolls up and blasts lightning into THUNDER blowing him away.
THUNDER aims both arms at and fires single arm guns at VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE launches a missile hitting THUNDER.
THUNDER staggers back, VALKYRIE flies into THUNDER.
VALKYRIE and THUNDER smashes through a parked van, igniting and exploding the vehicle.
VALKYRIE kicks THUNDER off and lands himself on the road.
THUNDER is thrown into the wall of a large office tower.
THUNDER walks out and fires two missiles at VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE blasts lightning at THUNDER blowing up both missiles and striking THUNDER.
THUNDER strains to stand back up, he starts to fly again, this time away from VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE chases after him, gaining air on THUNDER.
THUNDER turns around firing one more missile hitting VALKYRIE.
VALKYRIE falls back and slams into a small city park crashing through bushes and small trees.
VALKYRIE with a large headache stands up looking around to find THUNDER gone.
VALKYRIE takes a moment to recover and tries to fly, but the jets breaks on him.
VALKYRIE looks around to see no one around him; he takes off his helmet and takes out his phone.
After a moment VALKYRIE’S phone connects.
VALKYRIE
Hey MALCOM it’s me, I kinda’ need a
ride.
COLD OPEN:
INT. PARASITE’S BAR - DAY
PARASITE, BLUE, and RAIDER sit in the bar before the bar has opened.
MOUNTAIN walks out from the basement.
MOUNTAIN
I’ll be right back.
PARASITE
What’s up?
MOUNTAIN
JOSH needs me to pick him up.
PARASITE
Got it.
MOUNTAIN leaves the bar.
RAIDER looks over at BLUE.
RAIDER
BLUE, what do you want to do today?
BLUE
I have no plan.
RAIDER
But what do you want to do?
BLUE looks over at RAIDER.
PARASITE turns towards RAIDER and BLUE.
BLUE
I have no want.
PARASITE
Would you like to listen to some music?
BLUE
I have no opinion on the matter.
PARASITE rolls his eyes and turns on the radio, listening to I Love Rock n Roll by Joan Jett.
RAIDER and PARASITE enjoy the song.
RAIDER hears a soft tapping sound and looks over to BLUE to see his fingers tapping to the beat while starring out the window at the cold blue sky.
FADE IN:
INT. WITCH CRAFT’S APARTMENT - DAY
WITCH CRAFT sits on the end of his bed next to LILIUM who is still sleeping.
WITCH CRAFT looks at the red leather hide armor sitting on the chair next to the bed.
LILIUM shuffles about as she wakes up with no concern covering herself, she places her arm around WITCH CRAFT’S shoulders, she rests her head on him.
LILIUM
You okay?
WITCH CRAFT
Yeah.
LILIUM looks around the room and then turns back to WITCH CRAFT.
LILIUM
I often forget the reasoning you have
for a lot of your decisions; you’ve
been through things most wouldn’t
understand.
WITCH CRAFT
Everyone’s got baggage.
LILIUM
Not everyone’s baggage has to do
with rituals murders and blood
sacrifices.
WITCH CRAFT remains silent.
LILIUM
Sorry, I know you don’t like to talk
about it.
WITCH CRAFT sighs.
WITCH CRAFT
Hungry?
LILIUM
Yeah a bit.
WITCH CRAFT gets up out of the bed.
WITCH CRAFT
I’ll order Chinese.
LILIUM
Sounds good.
LILIUM gets out of the bed and looks for her clothes.
WITCH CRAFT
We can eat down in the store, it’s
been about thirty minutes, need to
open back up.
LILIUM
Probably a good idea.
LILIUM puts on her shirt looking for her underwear.
COLD OPEN:
EXT. VALKYRIE’S HOUSE - DAY
A small truck pulls up to VALKYRIE’S home just as the garage opens.
The truck parks outside and both VALKYRIE and MOUNTAIN exit.
VALKYRIE and MOUNTAIN head to the back of the truck and pulls out the VALKYRIE armor that had been badly damaged.
VALKYRIE and MOUNTAIN take the armor into the garage and set it on a large metal rack.
VALKYRIE takes out a large generator, starts the motor and hooks up the power to the batteries in the armor.
MOUNTAIN
So what the hell happen out there?
VALKYRIE
Old friends in the military, after I
joined a special operations team, I
met him along with several other
soldiers.
MOUNTAIN
Is that where you got the armor.
VALKYRIE leans back into a small chair.
VALKYRIE
I met a doctor there, an engineer, he
built the VALKYRIE armor, those
leading the program wanted to use
the armor for their own gain.
MOUNTAIN
And the armored guy you fought?
VALKYRIE
The armor he wore was a new design,
the doctor was killed and a lot of the
technology he had invented for the
program is all here with the armor. I
was assigned to this armor in
particular and he showed me how to
repair it and more.
MOUNTAIN
So we might see more of them?
VALKYRIE looks off in deep thought.
VALKYRIE
Yes.
MOUNTAIN
They’re gonna’ get better I’m sure.
VALKYRIE looks to his armor then back to MOUNTAIN.
VALKYRIE
Maybe I can make a few,
modifications.
The VALKYRIE armor’s right shoulder plate snaps and falls to the ground with a loud clang.
MOUNTAIN and VALKYRIE looks to the armor.
VALKYRIE
I should probably just concentrate on
fixing the armor for now.
MOUNTAIN
Yeah you should.
VALKYRIE
Going to head back?
MOUNTAIN
Yup, going to be fine here?
VALKYRIE
Oh yeah, no problem.
MOUNTAIN takes a moment and lets out a sigh.
MOUNTAIN
Take it easy.
MOUNTAIN walks back to his truck.
VALKYRIE watches MOUNTAIN drive away, turns to his armor and leans back in the chair.
COLD OPEN:
EXT. PARASITE’S BAR - ALLEY - DAY
Later in the afternoon the clouds roll in.
Behind PARASITE’S bar a large dumpster sits along the alley road.
The back door to the bar opens as PARASITE steps out with two large trash bags in hand.
PARASITE tosses the trash into the dumpster and closes the lid.
Blocks away in the city loud police sirens wail as they seem to weave through out the area.
PARASITE takes a moment to consider his options, but after making his choice he tenses up and forces out the black obsidian like armor vines all over his body.
PARASITE leaps into the air reaching the roof of a near by theater.
From the roof top PARASITE looks out to see a large mini van driving with four MEN inside, the two in the back of the van fire assault rifles back at the three police cars following them through the city.
PARASITE leaps out.
COLD OPEN:
EXT. CITY STREET - DAY
PARASITE lands on a partially busy street.
The PEOPLE along the sidewalks back away in fear from PARASITE.
The mini van with the four CRIMINALS smashes through the left tail bumper of a small car passing an intersection.
The small car goes spinning into a light pole.
Speeding down the street the mini van heads straight for PARASITE.
PARASITE starts running towards the van.
PARASITE and the van collide, PARASITE stumbles a bit but the van is knocked to the right causing the van to flip twice.
The van comes to a crashing stop in the middle of the road, landing on the tires.
One of the MEN inside is clearly incapacitated, out cold, and injured but the other three MEN stagger out of the vehicle.
MAN ONE fires on PARASITE.
Most of the bullets are stopped by PARASITE’S organic armor, the other bullets pierce through him but his injuries heal just as fast as they were caused.
PARASITE walks over to a large newspaper machine, grabbing it with one hand and hurls it at MAN ONE.
The newspaper machine smacks into MAN ONE, breaking everyone it hits.
MAN TWO pulls out a pistol as where MAN THREE takes the assault rifle from the MAN still inside the car.
MAN TWO and MAN THREE open fire on PARASITE.
PARASITE rushes towards them at an incredible speed; he punches MAN TWO in the chest, blowing him back into the van killing him in an instant.
MAN THREE drops his assault rifle and starts to run from PARASITE.
PARASITE picks up the assault rifle and flings it at MAN THREE, the gun smacks into MAN THREE’S leg and breaks it.
MAN THREE fall crippled with a broken leg yelling in pain.
PARASITE walks over to MAN THREE but is suddenly hit in the back with several bullets.
PARASITE turns back to the van to see MAN FOUR having wakened and firing a pistol at him.
MAN FOUR steps out from the car as he fires.
PARASITE gets ready to attack MAN FOUR.
MAN FOUR is punched in the face, kneed in the stomach, and hit in the face once more knocking him out unconscious.
However no one is seen to have hit MAN FOUR, there is no one near him and no one else even around him.
PARASITE walks towards MAN FOUR in confusion and starts to notice foot steps in the thin layer of snow around MAN FOUR.
PARASITE starts to chase the foot steps but the foot steps run onto the sidewalk where the snow had been cleared away, hiding the invisible attacker as they make their escape.
PARASITE doesn’t know where the invisible attacker ran off, giving he turns to go back to his bar.
FADE IN:
INT. SCHOLAR’S DEN - DAY
WITCH CRAFT and LILIUM talk while standing down stairs in the store.
RING! RING! WITCH CRAFT digs into his pocket and pulls out his phone.
WITCH CRAFT is cleaning up just about to close having had LILIUM stay to help out for a bit.
WITCH CRAFT now wears a red shirt and grey jeans and LILIUM wears white tank top and tan leather skirt with her favorite gold plated boots.
A small radio plays music sitting on the counter.
WITCH CRAFT
Hello?
PARASITE
It’s DANIEL, quick question, I just got
back from a police chase with four
gun wielding thugs, what do you
know of invisible creatures, magick,
or other stuff?
WITCH CRAFT
Invisibility is a powerful but difficult
spell, shit, I can’t even pull it off and
not many can, it’s also kind of a
restricted spell in the sense you can
make contact with any living thing or
the spell is broken. Unless there’s an
invisibility spell out there that I don’t
know about.
PARASITE
So the likely story is that it’s unlikely
for an invisible person to be using
magick?
WITCH CRAFT
Not impossible, but I’d put the
probability in the low twenty percent,
more high tens.
PARASITE
Right.
WITCH CRAFT
Why ask?
PARASITE
I’ll tell you later I got to open up.
WITCH CRAFT
Understood, I’ll probably stop by later.
PARASITE
Got it.
WITCH CRAFT hangs up the phone.
LILIUM looks up to WITCH CRAFT.
LILIUM
What’s going on?
WITCH CRAFT
Apparently some shit with down with
PARASITE and some gun men,
including some invisible guy.
LILIUM
Interesting.
WITCH CRAFT starts to look around as if something is lost.
LILIUM notices.
LILIUM
What?
WITCH CRAFT
Have you seen a dark brown wooden
like crystal orb thing-a-ma-jig?
LILIUM
Uh, no.
The radio cut from music to news, talking about the fight between VALKYRIE and THUNDER earlier that morning.
WITCH CRAFT
Shit, certainly something I don’t want
to lose. I keep it in the glass shelf
below the counter here.
LILIUM
What about it?
WITCH CRAFT takes a moment and shrugs.
WITCH CRAFT
Eh, nothing to worry about it, I
probably just put it somewhere and
forgot about it. Lets head to the bar.
LILIUM
Alright.
WITCH CRAFT looks over at the radio having just started paying attention.
WITCH CRAFT turns back to LILIUM who staring back at him.
LILIUM
JOSHUA?
WITCH CRAFT
I’ll head over to his place, check on him.
LILIUM
Okay, I'll wait here, I hope he's alright.
WITCH CRAFT
I'm sure he's fine. I think.
WITCH CRAFT grabs his jacket from under the counter and as he puts it on he teleports away.
FADE IN:
INT. PARASITE’S BAR - BASEMENT - NIGHT
RAIDER, BLUE, and SOUL sit in the basement of the bar.
The sounds of bar patrons come from upstairs as PARASITE and MOUNTAIN work the bar.
RAIDER drinks from an oil carton of 10W-30.
BLUE stands in the corner starring straight ahead.
SOUL watches the television as the news covers the fight between VALKYRIE and THUNDER.
EMBER walks in from downstairs.
RAIDER sees EMBER and walks over.
RAIDER
Hello AMBER, how are you feeling?
EMBER
Alright, did you guys see the oh…
EMBER walks over to the television to see the news.
EMBER
Anyone heard from JOSHUA?
RAIDER
MALCOM said he was at home
repairing his armor.
EMBER
Good, because he got F-ed up.
SOUL stands up and turns over to EMBER and RAIDER.
SOUL
If there had been more time we could
have gone and helped him, but the
fight ended too soon.
RAIDER
Well next time JOSHUA is getting
beaten we ca…
WITCH CRAFT teleports in next to EMBER and RAIDER, with him is LILIUM.
RAIDER jumps a little, startled by WITCH CRAFT and LILIUM teleporting in.
RAIDER
You know, I’ve seen a lot of shit in this
universe but magick is still the weirdest
of it all.
WITCH CRAFT
Sorry, I don’t know, AMBER used to it.
EMBER
He does this shit all the time.
SOUL
How you doing LILLY?
LILIUM stretches a little.
LILIUM
I feel alright, relaxed but a bit tired.
EMBER
You guys seen the news?
WITCH CRAFT
Yeah, yeah, VALKYRIE’S alright, I
teleported over before we came over
about thirty minutes ago.
RAIDER
That’s good.
WITCH CRAFT
He was talking about updating his suit,
going on about missiles, guns,
lightning bolts, chainsaws, lasers,
flame throwers. I doubt he’ll be
putting much of that on the armor
though.
WITCH CRAFT waves his hands about while talking about VALKYRIE updating his armor.
SOUL
He didn’t make the suit right?
LILIUM
I think he said he got it from someone,
but I never was told from who.
EMBER
So it’s not like an Iron Man thing.

invisible person?

No not yet, he’s working, at least was
when I got here.
SOUL
Apparently while we fought against
some gun men a few blocks from here
someone helped him or maybe not,
but the person was completely
invisible.
SOUL looks over at BLUE to see BLUE watching the basement television but then turns back to others.
EMBER

SOUL

RAIDER takes another drink of the oil while EMBER looks at her in confusion.
RAIDER
How are you going to look for
someone who can’t be seen?

do with magick.

INT. TOWNHOME - BEDROOM - NIGHT
Inside an inner city town home dead at night the lights are off and the doors are locked.
A small bedroom on the second floor is vacant, no one inside or out.
The small bedroom window opens up, but no is there to open it.
Inside the room the sounds of the floor creaking echo.
After a moment, the shape of a young human body forms in the room covered by a shine of a dozen of colors.
When the body finally solidifies, a young TEENAGER stands dressed in a grey hexagonal pattern light weight armored suit.
The TEENAGER takes off the helmet showing himself to be a young white man with short patchy dark brown hair and bright green eyes.
The TEENAGER takes out from both of his side holsters two expandable homemade thirty two inch expandable batons placing them on the computer desk.
The TEENAGER sets the helmet off, he closes the window trying to keep is quiet but the window slams down.
The TEENAGER cringes and stops moving waiting for something to happen.
DAD
What was that!?
TEENAGER
Nothing dad.
DAD
Get some sleep son.
TEENAGER
I’m trying, just got something to drink.
DAD
Alright, get some sleep.
The TEENAGER falls on the bed, behind him is a tack board with news clippings and more on it, a photo of the TEENAGER, his DAD, and MOM.
Next to the photo are newspaper clippings covering PARASITE, WITCH CRAFT, EMBER, BLUE, and the others who fought in the Christmas alien invasion.
