Batman 3: Ashes of Gotham

The final installment of my Batman trilogy Fancasts.

The third and final part of my Batman trilogy and if I was making it this would be seriously psychological, I mean Arkham Asylum: Serious House on Serious Earth's level of psychological bulls**t, also the title of this I kindof stole from one of the pre-production names of the Batman: Arkham City game.

FANCAST

Bruce Wayne/Batman - Eric Bana

See previous fancasts.

Alfred Pennyworth - John Hurt

See previous fancasts.

The Joker - Joaquin Phoenix

See Batman 1 fancast.

Commissioner James Gordon - David Wenham

See previous fancasts

Tim Drake/Robin - Alex Pettyfer 21 5'11" (I Am Number Four, Beastly)

I did look at alot of actors for this including Josh Hutcherson, who just didn't feel like it would be original enough, and those I rejected for Dick Grayson, Logan Lerman and Jamie Bell, who were both rejected as I just thought Pettyfer would knock this out of the park. The costume would also be more like his Red Robin costume.

Dr. Thomas Wayne - Richard Armitage 39 6'2" (Robin Hood, Frozen)

One of my very early Batman considerations but I thought I'd save him for this, he's just perfect in my eyes for Bruce's father.

Martha Wayne - Anna Friel 34 5'2" (Limitless, Land of the Lost)

A good actress and not overly used, in my opinion perfect for Martha.

Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn - Emily Browning 22 5'2" (Sucker Punch, Lemony Snicket)

Chose Browning as she's an up-and-coming actress who I think could be the flamboyant sidekick to The Joker.

Barbara Gordon/Batgirl - Saoirse Ronan

See Batman: The Caped Crusader fancast.

Dick Grayson/Nightwing - Aaron Johnson

See Batman: The Caped Crusader fancast.

Characters I casted but didn't get to use.

Dr Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow - Matthew Goode 33 6'2" (Watchmen, Match Point)

I've had him in mind for Scarecrow ever since I started fancasting.

Oswald Copplepot/Penguin - Brad Dourif 61 5'9" (Lord of the Rings, Dune)

Just perfect for the role I.M.O.

not bad. the only one I don't particularly care for is your Robin pick but I could live with. nice job.

Your Tim Drake pick and Dick Grayson pick are the same age, Johnson doesn't look older then Pettyfyer so sorry that doesn't work. Rest of the cast is decent.

I hate the idea of a reboot

Waste of Nolan's time

@RunDTC i would've chose Hutcherson if he wasn't so over-used, but thanks.

@Hellsing Aaron Johnson is a british 21 year old but last year he played an american high schooler actors are actors they act all ranges, but thanks for the compliment.

@bigshow2312 i agree i love the Nolanverse Batman but he said hes done after Dark Knight Rises.

Thanks I alrready know who Aaron Johnson is and what does him playing high schooler last have to do with anything. Tim Drakes meant to be significantly younger then Dick Grayson. Pettyfyer doesn't look younger then Johnson.

@ elwood23

Yeah but why should we believe that? Why settle for some average director than just respect the universe for what it is?

@Hellsing i only meant to point out that people play younger than they are plus i should have mentionned Grayson would be little more than a cameo in this.

@bigshow2312 i don't think he'll stay as a director but hopefully he'll stay as a producer and writer
