In my opinion, I feel we need to see the joker again in the third installment.

Here is a British actor that you may well know. Micheal Sheen.

HE is a great actor so I'm sure he can pull off, he has demonstrated in many roles that he can completely and believably immerse himself in a character.

Physically, if he's costume in done similar to the traditional joker costume unlike the costume heath ledger has(which wasn't bad, it worked well) but i believe if micheal sheen wore the whole suit he would look great.

The make up would simply make him look spot on.

I can picture this dude as The Joker....great actor...I find him annoying though...Joseph Gordon Levitt or SIMON BAKER is my pick at present!

oh yeah i saw him on 30 Rock he is abit anoying lol what about Tim Roth or Jude law heck i'd take johnny depp has joker he fits and he's not too muscular?

Although he'd do a good job...CRISPIN GLOVER WAS BORN FOR THE ROLE

@tractor- I really hope you don't think the United Kingdom has a Presdient? Or that a guy whi PLAYED the EX Prime Minister is really the "president" :P

crispin glover was born for the role, the bread role on the dinner table lol. just kidding i dont know if he has the acting chops to come across as the joker,he does however have the look.

He could play A joker, not THE joker Nolan created, but if this was a non-Nolan production, USE him definatly, he's got the ablity

Yeah, Michael Sheen is a damm good actor and I can
see him as the regular type Joker...also Crispin
Glover but to replace Heath I say someone who has
almost the same facial features and could perform
Nolan's Joker without just mimicing Heath, that is
James Franco!

the only thing i can think of the glover was good in was beowolf.james franco played the joker type villain in spiderman 3 when he was messing with peter parker.

@1chris2- As much as I like James Franco he's only suited for a Batman 3, where it's Ledgers Joker....when you get to the real Joker though Glover owns the part, look up a movie called Willard and tell me he isn't god for the joker.

yeah im a big movie fan,and ive seen willard where he controls rats he was kinda weird in that.and he was also in back to the future,and charlies angels 2 i think it was. im just not a big crispin glover fan. i think franco would be a great cast for batman 3 in nolans films. maybe when they finish nolans batman films, glover,leee,and you can prove me wrong, and show me hes a good joker.but for nolans i would love to see franco as joker,ben foster as the riddler,and kristin bell as harley quinne. i think those three would mesh great together on screen.
