By the way..these are only the charcters that have been revealed for the film..So No Nova

Nathan Fillon-StarLord

We know how awesome Nathan Fillon is ..i think he would make a great Starlord..i really hope Nathan will be Starlord in this movie





Vin Disel-Drax the Destroyer






Yes..Vin really should be Drax the Destroyer..Drax and Vin Disel look very similar..and Vin can be a really good actor.


Steve Blum-Groot (Voice)






I think Steve Blum would be a great voice for Groot..his deep voice is perfect for Groot

Simon Pegg-Rocket Racoon (Voice)





If they make Rocket Raccoon CGI..i think Simon Pegg would be the best choice for Rocket Raccon.He is a good actor and would make Rocket Raccon funny but not annoying

Gina Carlo-Gamora



She's sexy,she badass.I would love to see Gina Carlo as Wonder Woman but i would also like to see Gina Carlo as Gamora

Villains:


Sala Baker-Cardian Raker




He played the main villain in Lord of the Rings..He would be a awesome Cardian Raker

Dainel Porter-Thanos



He is going to be Thanos

This was my reaction to seeing Nathan Fillion as Starlord:



He'd be good for the role … ten to fifteen year ago. He's now too old looking and is too pudgy looking for Starlord. But the rest of the cast is good. I especially love Steve Blum as Groot.

Yeah I'd have to agree unfortunately with Mr Blue. If it was down to Whedon and Nate lost a few stone and worked out he'd be a shoe in but I can't see it happening. He's too content on Castle and it's effected his physique. Caleb, Mal, Castle are all excellent characters.

Love it. Except for Fillion. I'm [frick]ing LOVE Firefly/Serenity and currently burning through every episode of Castle but for the same reason I cant see him playing Nate Drake is he's too pudgy nowadays.

FILLION is now too old for an action leading man,
unfortunately!

He would have made a perfect STAR-LORD back in the
FIREFLY days!

I really don't like a COCKNEY ROCKET RACCOON!
Too cartoonish! RR is not a cartoon like they
portrayed him on the animated GOTG.
He needs to be more grown-up for a GOTG movie!
An alien RACCOON would not have a British accent!

The rest are Good.

The movie illustration that has come out is not
set in stone! It is premature to assume that will
be the only characters in the movie!
So PHYLA, ADAM WARLOCK, NOVA could still be in the
movie!

THANOS will probably be a bigger-name actor for the
GOTG movie THANOS!

@ DDD, how is a Cockney Raccoon "too cartoonish"? I mean, he's an alien from another planet, so he could have any accent for all we know.

I'd have to agree with everyone else about Nathan Fillion, sadly he is too old. Everyone else are great choices.

@DDD

I agree with DaRaginScotsman, It's plausible that rocket raccoon has British accent, or maybe they could do what they did in Avengers EMH and explain that this is how Adam Warlock's Infinity Gem translate the lenguage of Rocket's race. I see no problem as long as they dont cast Russel Brand to make Rocket Raccoon voice.
