Why:Excellent actor who has the right look and comedic chops to play Barry Allen

Why:Bit of a difficult cast, due to the role being small, but an actor is needed due to his importance in Flash's origin

Why:Excellent at playing leader types and Lincoln has the right sense of humor to pull off Snart's humor

Why:DON'T SHOOT ME, but after binging on some Flash issues(and talking with my theater teacher, who also directs plays and what not), I've started to like a good, young, minority face to play the brash Heatwave, as their dynamic will be cool level headed mentor/hot headed upstart apprentice.

Why:He's got the right spaced out presence and voice to pull of Mirror Master

Why:Weather Wizard may not be HUGE, but Ben Barnes has the ability to help make Weather Wizard stick out.

Plot Notes:
A lot of you may be let down by the lack of Reverse Flash, don't worry, he'll be coming down the line, I went with the Rogues to show the following:
1)Flash is super fast, but he will need to use his other weapon that made him get his powers in the first place:His dedication,capability, and general smartness in being a CSI
2)Lets be honest, to get Batman's attention you can't run around town and beat a bunch of B-list back robbers, so Flash's smarts will grab Batman's attention.
3)I WILL STRESS that there are plans for Reverse Flash

Your Barry/Iris combo made me think of a Damien Chazelle directed Flash movie and I'm actually loving that idea. I think his directorial energy could work wonders for the character (after Whiplash I had him on my wishlist for a Spidey reboot).

I'm not crazy about Ritchie. None of his movies have really stuck with me but I get why he has supporters. I'd almost prefer his buddy Matthew Vaughn.

@Enrique62 - I've always thought of Chazelle for a CBM, but I read that he don't look on them to fondly. But yes, Chazelle would be great for either a Spidey or Flash movie. Also(as a fan of both their movies) Ritchie and Vaughn have almost precisely the same style. Thanks for reading(I'm actually more nervous about my Rogues casting than anything)

This is far better than your Superman cast. There's a bit of sketchy work here for my personal taste but I could see this as being a hit. Even Guy directing this speed-style would work in his favor

@ager - thanks,I was at a bit of loss with a Superman movie(since Zod would make the rest of the JL look like asshats,and some of his other villains required a bit too much assembly for my taste). What was some of the sketchy casting just out of curiosity?

It wasn't worth mentioning because it's a personal gripe. I stand alone in not liking Ryan gosling EVEN THOUGH I have cast him myself. For that reason, I wouldn't personally pick him as Barry, who, behind Batman, Nightwing and Tim Drake, he's the best D.C. Has to offer. That's just me though. I'd still see and I'd still like it. Also, the recasting, although perfect, of Emma 'Gwen Stacey' Stone could've gone to another person for creativity's sake. But then I find myself thinking she's PERFECT for it any way. That's it, man. It was just my beef with me! It is a great cast

@ager - @ager - thanks. My problem with casting Flash was I wanted someone who's honed their craft,looks like the character,AND ISN'T A BLASTED KID LIKE THE CW AND DCEU VERSIONS. Thats how Stone fell into place. Glad you liked it(GL is next,and its a Hal solo

Definitely like yourBarry and Iris, a winning combo. I like Guy Ritchie, a bit hit and miss sometimes but think he will do well with a comic movie.

Gosling isn't a bad choice for Allen, however Emma Stone is a stellar pick for Iris.

Steve Buscemi as Bart Allen (Kid Flash) or Henry (Barry'father)? If it's Henry then no way can I buy Gosling as his son. Jeff Daniels would be my choice.

Lincoln is a good choice for Cold, him as Cold and Stone as Iris are my favourites.

Guy Ritche could deliver an interesting Flash film, wouldn't complain if were got on board.

Thanks. Good to be back. I'd say Aldis Hodge as Heatwave. I've been a fan of that brother's work for a while now so I'd like to see him in a villain/protagonist role. Also, while I'm not really familiar with Weather Wizard, I think his name gives me a pretty good idea of what his character would bring to the table. And that pic of Ben Barnes has the right amount of menace in it to make me believe he would have the fortitude to challenge The Fastest Man Alive.

@mtwiggs - Weather Wizard is an excellent ancillary villain who can control the weather with his Weather Wand(some of the Rogues are kinda cheesy, not gonna lie)(Also,he wouldn't be a big lead like Lincoln/Hodge), and thanks(on the pic, I love the internet). Glad you like Hodge as Heatwave
