inFAMOUS: A Fan Cast By The4thWall

*Note: For this fan cast, only a few pictures will be with their characters/actors. This is because I could not find every character/actor picture. Apologies.*

HELLO CBM.COM! I haven't been contributing to this site for a LONG time, so I thought that its time I made my triumphant return with a fan cast of one of my personal favorite games: inFAMOUS.

inFAMOUS tells the story of Cole McGrath, a bike messenger who unintentionally delivers a bomb and wipes out half of the city. Empire City turns into a war zone with the Reapers controlling the entire town. Cole, as a result of the explosion, gains powers of electricity. Cole uses these powers to fight off the Reapers and ends up uncovering a plan much darker than anyone would have thought.

Let's begin shall we?

DIRECTOR

For the director, I wanted someone talented, yet relatively new to the scene. After going through a few choices, I think I have struck gold with...

MATTHEW VAUGHN

With First Class, Vaughn showed me how talented he is when it comes to grounding superheroes in a real and violent world. That is exactly what needs to be fleshed out in this type of movie.

WRITER(S)

For the writer(s), this film needs to have a gritty feel as well as snappy dialouge. Similar to First Class and Kick-Ass, I think Vaughn should co-write the film with...

JANE GOLDMAN

Goldman worked on First Class and Kick-Ass with Vaughn and look how those two turned out. They would be great for this.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

The cinematographer is an important person to the making of a film. He makes sure how good the film is gonna look. So, for this film, I chose someone who's work has showed true beauty and grit. I have chosen...

EDUARDO SERA

Sera has worked on fine films such as Blood Diamond, Defiance, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He is known for his dark imagery and haunting camera angles. He'd be perfect for this.

MUSIC

Music is important to how a film will sound (duh) and how it will overall end up. Music needs to be good in order for it to fit with the tone of the movie. For this, I choose...

MICHAEL GIACCHINO

Known for working on all of J.J Abrams films and for winning the Oscar for Up, Giacchino is a whiz at making great music. He would be perfect for this.

Now on to the main cast...

SAM WORTHINGTON = COLE MCGRATH

Sam's a fan favorite for this role and rightfully so. He would be a kick-ass Cole because Cole is a dark character and Worthington usually plays characters like that. It'd be awesome.

JASON SEGEL = ZEKE

Zeke provides much of the comic relief in the game and is portrayed as a type of hick. So, I thought that Segel would be a good fit to make the character more funny then he was in the game (even though he was hilarious) and make him "less Southern".

JENNIFER LAWRENCE = TRISH

Trish is Cole's girlfriend at the beginning of the game, but leaves him after learning that he delivered the bomb and has been branded a terrorist. Lawrence is a great actress and is just so beautiful. She's great.

PAULA PATTON = MOYA

Moya serves as Cole guide when she contacts him to help her find her missing husband John. Paula Patton should be in more movies and might as well start with this.

DON CHEADLE = JOHN

John was working on the Ray Sphere, the bomb that Cole accidentally delivered, before he went missing. Cole spends most of the beginning looking for him. Cheadle is a talented actor and he'd be a great addition to the movie.

SPOILER WITH THIS CHOICE (for those who have not played the game)

SAM WORTHINGTON/KEITH DAVID = KESSLER

Kessler is the main villian of the game. He appears in short altercations where he fights Cole and then disappears. Since (SPOILER AHEAD) Kessler is Cole from the future, he should obviously be played by the same actor who is playing Cole. But Kessler has a different voice in the game, keeping people from thinking that it is actually Cole. So, I chose to go with one of the best "bad guy" voice actors out there: Keith David.

TOBIN BELL = ALDEN

Alden is another villian from the game. Tobin Bell just oozes of Alden so there you go.

NATALIE PORTMAN = SASHA

Sasha is another villian from the game. She spends most of her time trying to seduce Cole. Natalie....is....perfection. That is it.
