For my JLA cast I decided to make my League a little younger than Zack Snyder’s current universe by using young rising stars who possibly have the talent to pull off a JLA franchise in the future.
The Cast
I tried to be as original as possible and in my opinion I did a pretty good job when it comes to originality but you decide how good of a job I did on the casting choices.
Just take into account that these are my choices for a future JLA franchise so it does not have anything to do with the current movie universe that is being put together by Zack Snyder.
Dillon Casey as Superman /Clark Kent
Dillon Casey is a 30 year old actor who has appeared in a number of stuff like Nikita and Torchwood. He has the height (6ft 3) as well as the built and a commanding voice to pull of Superman. I think in a couple of years’ time he could make a pretty decent Superman.
Garrett Hedlund as Batman/Bruce Wayne
Garrett Hedlund is a talented actor who can pull of dark, broody and stubborn characters and I believe he would make a decent Batman in a couple of years. The reason I chose him is because of his roles in Death Sentence, Four Brothers and Country Strong. He has the height, built and acting ability to pull of Batman in the near future. He is one of my candidates for Nightwing in Batman vs. Superman.
Emilia Clarke as Wonder Woman
Emilia Clarke is a fantastic actress who sort of resembles a young WW. She has the ability to play her as well just watch Game Of Thrones.
Army Hammer as Hal / Green Lantern
Army Hammer is a decent actor who has been in a decent number of stuff like J. Edgar, The Social Network and The Lone Ranger. People suggested him as Batman I don’t know why he is better suited for Green Lantern.
Sam Claflin as Barry Allen/ The Flash
Sam Claflin is a pretty decent actor who could possibly be a decent Flash choice in the future. He has the acting talent and the Barry look.
Jai Courtney as Aquaman
I chose him because of his role in Spartacus as well as I Frankenstein. Some other movies he has been in are A Good Day To Die Hard, Jack Reacher and Divergence.
Michael Ealy as Martian Manhunter
A talented actor from Almost Human, Common Law and Las Vegas. He has the right voice and acting talent to portray a good Martian Manhunter. Just watch him on Almost Human where he plays Dorian.
Amber Herd as Black Canary
I have seen Amber Herd cast in this role many times and established she is a fan favourite for the role of Black Canary. I can see why she resembles the character and is a decent actress.
Matt Barr as Green Arrow
Matt Barr kind of looks likes Oliver and he has a decent record so he is my choice for GA in the not so distant future.
Aldis Hodge as John Stewart/ Green Lantern
Aldis Hodge is a pretty decent actor who has been in Strike Back, Leverage, Friday Night Lights and The Walking Dead. He has a good record and he has that intimidating look that John Stewart has.
Kellun Lutz as Captain Marvel
An okay actor who has been in The Twilight movies, Arena and The Legend Of Hercules. He has a decent record except for the last movie I mentioned but he has the built and look required for Captain Marvel.
Lupita Nyong’o as Vixen
A popular actress at the moment and a good one just watch 12 Years A Slave. Good actress who could easily pull of this role.
Ezra Miller as Plastic Man
He is supposedly a Nightwing contender but I think he is a terrible choice for Nightwing but a good choice for a character like Plastic Man. He could make a pretty cool Plastic Man.
Kit Harrington and Olivia Wilde as Hawkman and Hawkgirl
Both are talented young actors who have a pretty good career ahead of them in the film or television industry. To get a sense of Kit Harrington’s acting ability watch Game Of Thrones or Pompeii. Watch Tron, The Change up, Butter or Cowboys and Alien’s to get a sense of Olivia Wildes acting ability.
Alison Brie as Zatanna
She is a good and funny young actress who could be an interesting Zatanna. She is in a few comedy movies as well as a TV show called Community.
Sinqua Walls as Steel
He is a decent actor who has the built and voice for this role as well as being a decent actor.
Scott Eastwood as Captain Atom
Scott Eastwood is the son of Director and actor Clint Eastwood. He has proven himself as an actor and I believe he would be a decent choice if ever Captain Atom ever appeared on the big screen in the future.
