So lets say Marvel got the rights back & they added th rebooted & added X-Men to the MCU.






James Bo--Timothy Dalton as Professor X. Strange choice, I know a lot cast him as Magneto. But I feel he suits Professor X better, it's hard to replace Patrick Stewert but I know Timothy Dalton can.
Others I considered: Ralph Fiennse, Colm Feore





Jake Gyllenhaal as Cyclops/ Scott Summers. I'm trying to go for a older then first class but still younger cast, Jake is 31 & looks like Scott. I only remember seeing him in Source Code but in that he should how talented he is & I think he could play Scott without making him a jerk.
Others I considered: Chris Pine





Amanda Righetti as Jean Grey/Marvel Girl/Pheonix. I saw someone cast this & while I LOOVED Famke(?) Jensen it's a reboot. I'v only seen her in the Mentalist, she's a pretty good actress & looks like her.
Others I considered: Bryce Dallas Howard





Alex Pettyfer as Angel/ Warren Worthington III. This is the only cast member they maybe a bit too young for the age ranger I'm going for but I don't care he fits the bill of a young blonde jerky billionaire.
Others I considered: Teddy Sears





Joshua Jackson as Beast/ Hank Mccoy. Not a very original choice but he's a great actor, he comes off as smart, he sorta looks like Hank, & I have no one else to cast...
Others I considered: None





Jamie Bell as Iceman/Bobby Drake. Again not very original. Jamie is young he's funny & sorta looks like Bobby. The one thing I worried about when casting him was his accent but after watching Man on a Ledge I discovered he can do an American accent awesomly, you'd never know he wasn't American.
Others I considered: Colin Ford, Jake Abel, Hunter Perrish





Matt Barr as Havok/ Alex Summers. I had a lot of trouble casting Alex. I wanted to find someone who resembled Havok & Jake. I considered a lot of random people, then I stumbled on to Matt who looks like Havok AND could pass for Jake's younger brother, Matt's even 3 years younger then Jake which is a believable gap between Havok & Cyclops.
Others I considered: None





Teresa Palmer as Polaris/Lorna Dane. A bit overused pick, but I honestly didn't like any of the other picks I saw for her. I do know she's a good actress, I loved her in I am number 4, she has blonde hair like Jennifer Lawerance, & sorta looks like Liam Neeson a bit.
Others I considered: Dianna Agron





Marsha Thomason as Storm/Ororo Munroe. I wanted to pick someone other than Zoe Saladane. I'v only seen Marsha in Disney's the Haunted Mansion, & she was pretty good in that. I think she would have a strongness about her while fighting & an almost motherly feel around the students.
Others I considered: Zoe Saladane





Tom Hardy as Wolverine/Logan. Popular choice. I wasn't really confident untill I saw the Dark Knight Rises. I feel I don't really have to explain this much more...
Others I considered: Adam Baldwin

Adam Baldwin as Wolverine/Logan. I have two choices for Logan because I couldn't decide on one actor. Anyway I have been a huge fan of this guy since I saw him on Chuck, & that's what made me pick him as Logan. He's a bit tall, but hight isn't a huge issue for me if the actor fits really well.
Others I considered: Tom Hardy





Elijah Wood as Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner. I wanted to pick someone a little strange for a character that's a little strange. Kurt is short & so is Elijah. Also Elijah was raised Catholic I believe & Nightwcrawler is Christian so I guess that fits, sorta.





Liam Neeson as Magneto/Erik Lehnshr. Another popular choice but I see why. After seeing him as Ra's in BB a little while ago convinced me of how well he would fit this role! Also, I can see him & Dalton as being frienemie type thing.
Others I considered: Timothy Dalton, Clive Owen, Jason Issac





Tom Felton as Quicksilver/Piatro Maximoff. He already played a sorta-villian kid with daddy issues in Harry Potter & he looks a lot like him.
Other's I considered: None





Jennifer Lawerance as Scarlett Witch/Wanda Maximoff. My only expirence with this character was her in X-Men: Evolution & flipping through comics at Borders (RIP) & Barnes & Nobles. From what I'v seen she's a bit crazy, after seeing Jennifer's performance in the Hunger Games I'm convinced she could play a slighty disturbed child of Magneto.


So the way I might tie in X-Men to MCU is if at some point Beast mentioned his friend Hank Pym, or if in Cap in Cpt. America 2 while putting his life together he went to visit Logan who he met during the prison break thing (where he found Bucky & met Red Skull)

I know I'm missing some characters but I didn't know who to cast for Mystique (Open to suggestions on her btw!) but these are just the basics that would be introduced into the MCU. So please comment! Tell me if you have any good suggestions for Mystique & if you see typos!

This is pretty good. Only thing is, Adam Baldwin's waaaaaay to tall for Wolverine at 6'5". He'd be better off as Cable. But then again, they could make him look shorter like they did for the 6'2" John Rhys-Davies in The Lord of the Rings. And Jennifer Lawrence is already Mystique in X-Men: First Class. Other than that, nice job.

@DaRaginScotsman Yeah that's why I have Tom Hardy as another choice, the height does bug me bit, & I figured if Ryan Reynolds can be in Green Lantern, X-men, & Blade & Chris Evans can play Human Torch & Cpt. then I sorta figured Jennifer could too, but her playing another character in the X-men world is a bit strange I'll admitt. But thank you!

Okay, let's see...

Timothy Dalton as Professor X:
I'd prefer a semi-young Professor X. Dalton is in his mid 60's. And I'd like to see an American Xavier.

Jake Gyllenhaal as Cyclops/ Scott Summers:
You know, I could be behind it if he committed to the role.

Amanda Righetti as Jean Grey/Marvel Girl/Pheonix:
She's currently playing Sharon Carter in the current Marvel cinematic universe.

Alex Pettyfer as Angel/ Warren Worthington III:
Can't really complain. He's rather young though.

Joshua Jackson as Beast/ Hank Mccoy:
That's a tough one there. But it's not terrible!

Jamie Bell as Iceman/Bobby Drake:
On the contrary, I've seen Jamie cast more as Pyro than Iceman. Someone else cast him in the same role, and that was it.

Matt Barr as Havok/ Alex Summers:
Got him for the same role!

Teresa Palmer as Polaris/Lorna Dane:
Again, I haven't seen Teresa cast in this role. So it's definitely original.

Marsha Thomason as Storm/Ororo Munroe:
She's 5'10", not of American decent, and is top heavy. Great pick!

Tom Hardy/Adam Baldwin as Wolverine:
Yeah, stick with Hardy if we're going for a new version.

Elijah Wood as Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner:
Wood was raised Catholic? No wonder he's cast to death as Nightcrawler. Reeks of unoriginality, but why mess with formula if it works?

Liam Neeson as Magneto/Erik Lehnshr:
No comment. Perfection.

Tom Felton as Quicksilver/Piatro Maximoff:
That's starting to get old.

Jennifer Lawrence as Scarlet Witch:
Sorry, she's playing Mystique in X-Men: First Class. And how about finding someone who looks more European?

Overall, it's a great cast. How about checking out some of mine?

The funny thing about your Jean pick is she played Famke's younger sister in the direct to DVD sequel to House on Haunted Hill. I like this cast.

Not a bad idea, though I do agree about Baldwin not being short enough for Wolverine. Still, nice cast.

Professor x. I prefer the other James bond Pierce Brosnan as xavier.

Cyclops. I would rather see gyllenhall as Batman but he would be a good Cyclops.

Beast. I think rob Lowe would be a good Hank

Wolverine. Hardy is a good choice for wolvie.

Nightcrawler. I have wanted Elijah wood as Kurt since I saw sin city.

Magneto. I don't see Liam needing as magneto. I would rather see Ian Glenn

Very nice cast!

Some choices are quite original!
The one's that aren't original are good for the roles
so I don't think it really matters.

I see you've got my STORM & MAGNETO.
They're quite excellent aren't they?
They fit those parts perfectly!

Especially LIAM NEESON for MAGS, I mean, I can't
think of any other actor who fits the role better!

One thing.....

Uh, ADAM BALDWIN is 6'5", he's HUGE!

You totally contradicted yourself because there is no
way that BALDWIN FITS "WELL", a superhero character who
is listed at 5'3" and called RUNT constantly in the comics!
HE TOTALLY doesn't fit WOLVERINE!
He DOES fit CABLE.

Height DOES MATTER where WOLVERINE is concerned!
Why do people keep saying that height doesn't matter
with LOGAN?
It's the one thing that matters the most!
I don't get it at all?

Now that's a very good casting albeit a very unoriginal
choice! But I don't mind it.

I'm not even going to address the JENNIFER LAWRENCE
PROBLEM.

Stick with HARDY and you have a very fitting fine

just making a positive point that I have backed up
with total facts and logic.

I have made this point again because for some
reason some Fancasters here seem to hate
WOLVERINE being very short and continue on
saying size doesn't matter but it does in
WOLVERINE'S case!

This whole thing is WRONG!
It disrespects a character to screw with him
TOO MUCH and insist on continuing to make a VERY
SHORT character tall.

SIZE DOES MATTER!

I like your cast I think it really good. I like the idea of having much younger actors for role so they can carry on the sequel.

I wish if you kept your Profx choice for other role because he doesn't fit maybe he could black cassidy instead. I also don't like your cyclops Jake is good but doesn't strike as strong and structure like cyclops

Fine Angel and Beast choices I loved your jean grey choice a lot she fit the bell. I also loved polaris Teresa can bring the crazy and sassy lorna

@DDD well Ian Mcshane is 5'9 & played a Dwarf in Snow White & the Huntsman (looked pretty decent too) I dont know how Hollywood makes ppl shorter but they apperantly can. Thanks for commenting BTW!

Well if you're talking CGI to make an actor short then
that's a whole different thing.
Then ANY actor who is similar in the face could play
LOGAN. Then size is not an issue at all.

I just prefer an actor who is shorter to play LOGAN.
No CGI. It looks better visually, less cheap and
hokey-looking.

With dwarfs & midgets it's another thing. There is
not a plethora of midget actors to play the roles so
there is a need for CGI for that, like LORD OF THE
RINGS & THE HOBBIT. CGI really works for that.

But any actor from 5'10" on down in height, that
looks similar in the face to LOGAN and has the
voice, could play him.

ADAM BALDWIN does have the attitude of WOLVERINE and
similar in the face. But still at 6'5" he would look
better as CABLE.

But with HARDY as LOGAN in your Casting here you have
a darn GREAT CAST!

GREAT AND INSPIRED CHOICES. I just disagree with one thing. I think Scott should be an absolute jerk. Thats what I hated but came to love about that character. He shouldn't be to likable.
