Due to my laptop being totally lame, i can not upload pictures, so this article of mine will have no pictures but i hope you guys enjoy the read!

not sure if this is FAN-FIC or editorial

LETS BEGIN
Make no mistake people, right now we are in the golden age of Comic book movies. Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? Im not complaining, i for one am so excited we are finally getting a Justice League movie within the next 5 years, and i am so excited for deadpool to come to the screen. I love comic book movies, but what about video games? There are some video games that has been made into movies, Mortal Kombat for example. As bad as the movie is, i love watching it but i wonder will we ever witness MORE video games being adapted into movies? well here is my list of video games that i would love to see someday on the sliver screen...enjoy!

FIRST..
NEED FOR SPEED - 2014 this movie was made. i honestly loved it, it was a movie that stuck to the source of the video games and thats RACING. some people will go out of the way to say that NEED FOR SPEED is just a copy of Fast and Furious, but they are WRONG, Fast and Furious copied NEED FOR SPEED. None of that matters now though, because it was recently confirmed that Fast and Furious WILL ONLY focus on heist, Crime, and Action and thats one reason why i don't like the Fast franchise no more, they ran away from what they were trying to create. I love all need for speed games, i thought the movie was good. No it wasnt great, no the acting was Oscar worthy but it was enjoyable. The thing that i loved about this movie is that the stunts were REAL. Thats right people NO cgi or special effects were made for this movie. all the stunts were real, and that made me like the movie more. i noticed the movie went towards HOT PURSUIT and The RUN with a little bit of hollywoods touch on it. I even noticed some scenes that were in the movie that are in the game which was pretty cool. i loved this movie and i hope we can see more of it, but thats just me!

SECOND...
DRAGONBALL Z XenoVerse - Yes people, i am aware this is an anime but its also a VIDEO GAME. i recently got the new game today, and it is pretty fun and enjoyable. I already expressed my love and interest for hollywood to REBOOT dragonball z, if you want to see my article about dragonball z go to my profile and check it out. Long story short, FOX studios owns the rights to DBZ, dragonball evoultion was just GOD HORRIBLE! This can be more than just ONE movie, it can be a series! just like Harry Potter or the Fast and Furious movies, give Dragonball z 7-10 Movies it will be good. I think fox is sitting on a gold mine here that is dragonball z, and IF done right by the right people these movies could make MILLIONS!

THIRD....
The Evil Within - This is my favorite game of 2014. Underrated in my book. I LOVE this game, i have it for PS4 and i played it twice by now. I know there was a Slient Hill movie made years ago, and i will admit i liked both movies, but now i would love to see another movie similar to that and the EVIL WITHIN is that game. This can be a GREAT movie if done with the right people i believe, you just have to find people who are passionate enough to make these type of movies. If this movie ever did get made it would have to be DARK and scary as hell, it could be a GREAT horror, detective, crime movie. Of course you can't fit everything into a 2 hour and 30 minute movie, maybe this can be a trilogy? or again, if done right can fit into a 2 hour film. I really love this game, and i really hope hollywood will make this movie in the future.

FOURTH...
GEARS OF WAR - I remember when this game first came out, i was so happy. I also remember people talking trash about this game saying it was copying HALO but i disagree with that. Anyway this game can be made into a trilogy, and for this game you HAVE to go HARD R rated, take the cinematography from DREDD, with the Hard R rated that was in the PUNISHER WAR ZONE, with the dark and grttiness from the Alien movies, or Halloween movies, i think this trilogy would be GREAT!
this is another game that i would love to see as a movie.

FIFTH...
GRAND THEFT AUTO - i remember when GTA 3 came out, there were rumors about making a movie, and eminem was rumored for the lead role. NOW in 2015 i don't want that happening, but i would love to see this game get made into a movie. I believe if you just take the story-lines from GTA 5 for example it could turn out to be great, but i know some people will disagree. Some people may say a grand theft auto movie is impossible because of all the killing and robbing etc...but if you just focus on the storylines from all the games, it could work pretty well if you tackle it the right way. I would love to see GTA get a chance on the sliver screen but i dont think we will see it anytime soon.

SIXTH...
HALO - Do i really need to say anything about this? Im pretty sure this is on everybodies list of video games that NEEDS to be made into a movie. I know there are some CGI movies out there in the world somewhere, some are even on netflix, but i want a LIVE ACTION HALO movie. Wasn't there a HALO movie in the works? or am i just dreaming? This video game is long over due to be made into a movie. You can give us ASSASSINs Creed but can't give us a damn HALO movie? come on hollywood! this game is everyones favorite, the first game is clearly the best in my opinion. I honestly think and hope that if the WAR-Craft movie does well, it will open the door for MORE video game movies and i hope HALO would be the next one.

Seventh...
INFAMOUS - I can totally see hollywood making a trilogy out of this game VERY SOON. I only played Infamous Second Son and i loved it, it was a fun enjoyable game. i honestly wouldn't mind seeing a movie based off this video game, i think it would be a fun experience to watch, i hope im not the only one who agreed with that? But my spidey senses are telling me we will see a movie based off this game in the future very soon!

EIGHTh...
LAST OF US - It was already CONFIRMED last year that a LAST OF US MOVIE WILL happen and the girl from Game Of Thrones is playing the little Girl lead role. I still have no got the chance to play this game yet, i am slacking on it. I am only at chapter 2 right now on the playstation 4, i will get back to this game very soon. I am very excited for this movie and i hope it does not disappoint at all, or we will have a lot of angry fans out there.

NINEth...
DEADRISING (zombie game) - ANOTHER game that was CONFIRMED thats being made into a movie. I have NOT played any of the games because i don't have a XBOX ONE, unless they are out for the PS4 and i don't know about it? I only heard good and fun things about this game, so i can't wait for the movie. I just hope its not too much like the walking dead...

Tenth...
RED DEAD REDEMPTION - I believe this is another fan-favorite that people would love to see get made into a movie. I remember reading and hearing about BRAD PITT showing interests to star in the movie as the lead role, but i guess plans never fell through. As a video game being made into a movie, this game CAN WORK as a movie, the storyline in the game is simply GREAT, and simple, and somewhat sad. Maybe its because Cowboy movies aren't really a thing anymore? but im sure that if this movie ever gets made people WILL go see it, HELL you can even make a sequel since the kid grows up to follow his dads foot-steps. Also, there are rumors going around that we will be getting a RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2!! and rockstar told us be on the look out for big announcements in 2015. I would love to see this game get made into a movie, i wouldn't mind brad pitt starring at all, but im sure some will disagree with that.

LAST...
BATMAN ARKHAM SERIES - Do i really need to say anything about these games AT ALL?? i think we can all agree that FANS want a batman movie BASED off the arkham game series! would we like to see ben affleck still as batman? THAT i wouldn't mind as long as we get a batman movie based off the first video game i will be happy!!! words can't describe how excited i am for arkham knight!

THANKS for taking the time to read my first article of 2015!!
please comment, let me know if you agree or disagree.
What video games do you want to see get made into movies?

@Gnyah123

Personally I think Metal Gear Solid deserves a movie, Eric Bana for Solid Snake. Cool idea for an article though.

Red Dead Redemption deserves to be made into a movie, such an amazing game. GTA might be a little hard, but the stories can be adapted so that they work on the big screen- I really doubt running over/shooting every person in sight is actually part of the story.

I would love to see a Batman: Arkham movie series adapted. It's got to exist within the upcoming Batman cinematic universe. I even got a quadrilogy cast planned in time for Batman: Arkham Knight, which is looking muy promising.

I don't know if you haven't, but if you could, please check out my Spider-Man fancast from last month. If you can't leave comments anymore, just respond to my post here.

Red Dead would be an excellent source for a movie adaptation - if that happened, and it was done right, I'm sure people would see that video game movies actually can work if done right.

As for GTA, I don't think that would work - not because it's not good enough or cinematic enough, but because each one that has a story is already clearly influenced by a bunch of other iconic crime films and TV shows. Vice City is practically Scarface, San Andreas was based on many LA crime movies as well as Scorsese's Casino, IV is influenced by pretty much every movie about an immigrant moving to America because it's the land of opportunity and wanting to be a part of the American Dream, and V is inspired by the likes of Heat, Drive, Breaking Bad, etc. Basically, any GTA movie would be a loose remake of another movie - of course, it'd be great to see more crime movies inspired by the more original/satirical elements of the GTA games.

I really don't think the Arkham games should be directly adapted into movies, but it'd be great to see Batman movies that are inspired by them aesthetically and tonally, with a good balance between grittiness and comic-bookyness.

Infamous would be very difficult mainly because of the importance of the morality system and how it can change certain events in the story. It'd mean making decisions on which variables should be used, and that'll divide audience opinion. That aside, I agree it'd be a great movie.

The Last of Us is incredible, but I'm kind of worried about the movie. I get the feeling they'll chop and change it until it's beyond recognition, and thus ruin the best thing about the game - the story itself. Having said that, a direct adaptation would also be pointless, as a single movie would never be able to capture every detail in the game. A trilogy might be able to (split into Seasons from the game?), or a TV miniseries might do it justice - but if they just copy the game beat for beat, what's the point? Why not just play the game instead? The whole idea of adapting The Last of Us seems kind of pointless to me, because it's close to perfect as it is - any version of it in other media (TV, film, etc.) shouldn't adapt, it should expand - tell other stories from within the same world, but in keeping with everything the game stood for tonally and thematically. A movie about different survivors? A TV series split between the Fireflies and another group like The Cannibals?

I like this and disagree with the above comment. GTA is one of the properties where you could make any story about crime (that has at least one scene containing grand theft auto) and it'll oass for the movie

thanks for the feed back ppl

again sorry about having no pictures to make this article at least readable haha
my laptop wouldn't let me upload any of the pictures.

i do agree about the last of us...i dont think a tv series could work though, cause wouldn't that just be somewhat similar to the walking dead?

i think GTA can work maybe make it Hard R rated, and have over dramatic kills
involving grand theft auto, like running over some1 and their body goes flying up in the air, maybe have it gory like zombieland...that type of vibe and tone
