I know i said a few weeks ago that this would be up right away, but i got side tracked with other things, (and also must have went through 5 different actors for Ghost Rider before landing on just one), but i finally got around to it, and here is the story and fancast i used for Ghost Rider!
I know almost no one seems to like the Nic Cage version of Ghost Rider, and it was tough to come up with a good story for the next chapter of my MCU.
Ghost Rider A terrible family curse turns Johnny Blaze, motorcyclist and stuntman, into the Ghost Rider, a demon with a burning skull. Abandoned by his real parents due to the fact they feared he’d succumb to the traditional curse, Johnny is adopted by Craig “Crash” Simpson and his wife, Mona. They make up a story of how he got adopted, feeling it would be easier for him to take than the truth. But when the demon who created the curse, Mephisto, returns and makes a deal with Crash; he’ll cure him of his cancer in exchange for his adopted son’s servitude, Crash accepts but soon dies in a stunt accident. What Blaze doesn’t know is that his adopted father, who betrayed him and was reborn in a new life as Curly Samuels, the leader of the gang Blaze is already in. But when he eventually succumbs to the curse, he becomes Ghost Rider and is forced to stop Mephisto once and for all, while expressing his love for his step sister Roxanne Simpson. Once Mephisto has been defeated, Blaze opts to continue as the Ghost Rider, feeling that “you can’t live in fear”. The film ends with him making a vow to himself to protect his city, and keep Roxanne, now his lover, safe. Now onto the fancast...
Charlie Hunnam as Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider
Hunnam is frequently casts as Green Arrow, and although he may be a good Oliver Queen, i think he could make an even better Johnny Blaze. He is a great actor most known from "Sons of Anarchy" and i think from that show alone it can prove he'd make a great Ghost Rider!
Sienna Miller as Roxanne Simpson
Sienna Miller would make a great Roxanne Simpson, i had a few different actresses for the part, but i finally landed on Miller.
Willem Dafoe as Mephisto
I know he's already played a Marvel villain, but thinking of him as Mephisto, i think he would be great! He knows how to play insane, and this role would probably be no challenge for him.
Jeff Bridges as Craig "Crash" Simpson
Bridges is an amazing actor, and although him in a CBM is probably unlikely, he would make a good Crash Simpson.
Elizabeth McGovern as Mona Simpson
I couldn't find a picture of Mona Simpson, but i think McGovern would pull it off great!
Julia Ormond as Naomi Kale
I've only seen her in a few things, but from what i have seen, Ormond would make the perfect Kale!
Chris Cooper as Carter Slade
I like the idea of having Slade as Blazes' predeccesor as the Ghost Rider, and if that were the cast, i can think of no one better than Chris Cooper to play the role.
