Justice League Fan Cast
Superman-Henry Cavill
I’d like to see as much continuity as possible, and since he is already cast as The Man of Steel, he should remain.
If per chance they recast it, I say go back to Routh, but I see them taking someone who would be less confusing to the viewers.
Green Lantern- Ryan Reynolds
Same as above, although I think he might be more difficult to keep latched on, maybe too expensive.
If that happens I say they should go with Anthony Mackie.
He’s a great actor, and given the multiple men who have held the Green Lantern title, it could work better than some of the other recasting would.
Batman-Jon Hamm
As much of a fan of Christian Bale as I am, I don’t think he’ll be returning post TDKR. With that being said, I think we need to make sure there is a little bit of age with the group, and an elder Batman would be appropriate in my mind. It would help with his lone wolf mentality and he could act as a mentor to the younger members.
Flash- Dustin Fitzsimons
If you read my Flash fancast you’ll know why. He’d be the youngest of the group, but I think that can be a very helpful dynamic to the JLA. On a business note, he’d be the least known of the group, and would allow for bigger checks for the other characters. In a lot of ways, he’d be the Chris Hemsworth to RDJ, Chris Evans, SLJ, Ruffalo etc. Once again, the guy can act.
Aquaman-Jensen Ackles
We’ve talked about him in a variety of roles, but I think this could stick. He’s old enough to play royalty well, and we all know he kicks ass. Grow the hair, maybe even a beard and blonde it up and think we have a guy that can bring life to character that would normally have to compete to garner attention from the others.
Wonder Woman-Adrianne Palicki
Like above, let’s keep it consistent. I don’t want to have the whole Smallvile –Superman Returns issue. Of course, there is the possibility that the show doesn’t catch on and gets cancelled. In which case, I’ll pick an alternative, and it’s a bit of a nutty pick, but I could be interesting….Daniella Sarahyba.
She’s a sexy model that actually has some ass on her. Of course she hasn’t acted in anything, so that would be a major hurdle to overcome. But she is definitely a woman who would fill out the suit with her sexy 5’10” frame.
Martian Manhunter, J’onn J’onzz- CGI with the voice of Dee Bradley Baker.
For those of you that don’t know Dee, he has probably worked on more voice over than anyone since Mel Blanc. He has extraordinary range and talents and could bring J’onn to life through his voice. The CGI would allow us to depict a most accurate version of the alien.
We’ll see if I have time to get to villains another time, but for now, here is your Justice League.
