Hey Everyone,
So after my first fan cast I have decided to have a go at Street Fighter 3. I don’t think I have seen one on here and being a fan of the game I thought it deserved a little love. Now, I don’t think this movie will ever see the light of day, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t have a little fun with it.
Like before, I have based my decisions on the ethnicity of the characters as well as other factors included acting chops and age. Not all of the actors have martial arts training, but that can be taught. I would rather have an actor who can be taught how to fight rather than a fighter being taught how to act.
Anyway, here’s my fan cast for Street Fighter 3. I hope you like, and if you have any comments or better suggestions, please feel free to say. I always like a bit of feedback.

Reason: I just think he would be perfect for the role. He looks the part and after Thor he is in kick ass shape.

Played by: Idris Elba
Reason: A gentleman from the United Kingdom who could do you some serious damage... Elba was the first person that came to mind.
Elena

Played by: Gugu Mbatha-Raw
Reason: An English actress of African descent. She's young enough to play the role and although she's not 6 foot like her character I reckon she has the acting chops and the ability to get the accent right. She's been on screen alongside Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Kiefer Sutherland.
Ibuki

Played by: Rin Takanashi
Reason: Although she hasn't been in anything in the west, she is the star of one of Japan's most popular shows, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, where she sees plenty of action. Plus she is one of Asian Cinema's "ones to watch".

Reason: I haven't changed this from my last fan cast, I just think he would own the role.
Necro

Reason: Nobody else came to mind. Jones is the perfect man for the job in my opinion.
Oro

Reason: It took me a while to get this on, but I remembered Hong and I thought he would be great. The guys is in his 80's and it's safe to say that Oro isn't far off that, if not older. I don't see him in many action sequences anyway hence my choice of Hong.

Sean
From: Brazil
Played by: Bow Wow
Reason: Although he's not Brazilian, I think that Bow Wow would be great in the role. He's around the same age, height, build and he has some movies under his belt. Plus, I can see him pulling off that cockiness that Sean has as well as those basketball skills.
Yang & Yun
From: Hong Kong
Played by: Lee Joon
Reason: OK, so because Yang and Yun are twins, I thought it would be best to have one actor play them both. Although Joon is Korean and not from Hong Kong, I think he would be great in the role. Plus, he was in Ninga Assassin as the younger version of the main character... AWESOME!

Reason: This was a tough one. I wanted a actor that had a big frame, could be a little god like in a way as well as intimidating and Skarsgård is who came to mind.
