I’ve decided to take a little break from my DCU in favor of casting Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel”. Some of these choices are my backups for my DCU, while others are actors I normally wouldn’t even have thought of. My cast is:
Henry Cavill(The Tudors) as Clark Kent/Superman
Obviously. Credit to Obi for rendering the cape and belt buckle.
Emily Blunt(The Adjustment Bureau) as Lois Lane
I liked her in “The Adjustment Bureau” and she’s a great actress.
Jude Law(Sherlock Holmes) as Lex Luthor
Law is a great actor and can definitely play a charming, yet villainous Luthor.
Chris Colfer(Glee) as Jimmy Olsen
Despite being gay(which I really don’t care about at all), Colfer seems perfect for Jimmy, at least on “Glee”. He’s a smart
and confident teenager, which Jimmy needs to be. Of course, this won’t be a major part, at least in the first movie if this is a series.
Kevin Costner(The Guardian) as Jonathan Kent
To be honest, I’ve never seen him act, but the rumors keep persisting and he looks like he fits the role.
Diane Lane(Secretariat) as Martha Kent
Already cast, and she’s hot-I mean, looks good.
Gerald Butler(300) as General Zod
He is a fan favorite, looks the part and has worked with Snyder before.
CGI/voice of Corey Burton as Brainiac
We need Brainiac in a movie and we need him soon. Burton was perfect in the DCAU and LOSH and has experience playing other evil robots as well((Shockwave,
The Transformers)
