This was a hard movie for me to cast. I tried to have original cast but keep in mind I’m not a big Flash fan. I wanted to make this a really lighthearted, campy. And without further ado I present to you my casting for “The Flash”
The Flash/Jay Garrick: John Wesley Shipp (The Flash)
He was Barry Allen in the old 90’s TV show. I don’t think we’ll be seeing the Garrick in the movie but if he is I would love to see a cameo with him being played by John Wesley Shipp.
The Flash/Barry Allen: Matthew Fox (LOST)
He could do a great heroic Barry. Just watch him in Speed Racer LOL. I don’t think Barry’s going to be in much of the movie maybe just the beginning and flashbacks. Patrick Wilson would be great too.
The Flash/Wally West
I really wanted the plash to be played by Ryan Reynolds but sadly that won’t be happening. However I have 2 choices for who else could do it.
Ryan Kwanten (True Blood)
He has the sense of humor to do a really funny Wally and he could be really campy feel that I’m I would like to see in a Flash movie. But he may come off as too similar to Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan.
Or
Chris Pine (Star Trek)
This is kind of a lazy choice but he’s a great actor and could do a great funny/cocky version of Wally. Since I doubt he’ll get the role of Hawkeye why not give him this.

Linda Park: Linda Park (Star Trek: Enterprise)
Yeah Linda Park played by…Linda Park. Come on! She was born for this role. When I was thinking of an actor to cast she was the first person I thought of was the Asian girl from Star Trek: Enterprise; and that was before I knew her name was Linda Park!
(Linda Park is Wally’s love interest for those who don’t know)
Iris West Allen: Paula Marshall (The Flash)
She played her in the old show. I say let her do it again. She’s shape to do it.
Villains Hunter Solomon/Zoom: Neil Patrick Harris
I know that this is kind of a weird choice but I love Neil Patrick Harris and he could do a quirky, crazy version of Zoom and I’d love to see him as a villain. I’m imagining Zoom as the main villain in the movie.
The Rogues
These are my favorite members of “The Rogues” and the ones that I would like to see in a movie.
Captain Cold: Daniel Craig (James Bond)
Who better to play the “cool” leader (if you’ll pardon my pun) than James Bond himself?
Mirror Master: Christopher Eccleston (Dr. Who)
Though not my favorite Dr. Who, he is a great actor who would make a very interesting Mirror Master.
Captain Boomerang: Hugh Jackman (X-Men)
Just imagine Jackman playing a semi-comedic, Steve Irwin-like Boomerang. He’d be perfect (though I doubt he would accept the role).
Weather Wizard: David Tennant (Dr. Who)
I LOVE Tennant; he’s a great, very, talented actor and could play the role of Weather Wizard perfectly. And yes I did just cast both the 9th and 10th doctors to be Flash rogues.
Heatwave: Brian Austin Green (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles)
This isn’t a role that requires a big time actor this is just one that i thought of.
Trickster: Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean)
Ok this is kind of a joke. Just because he plays a really stupid character doesn’t mean he’s a bad actor. (P.S I loved the silly, nervous trickster from Justice League. That’s how I would like to see him done anything serious would come off to similar to the Joker.)
