The new Captain America uniform seems pretty popular but there is one thing i don't think anybody has noticed

All the discussion around the new suit has centered on how much it looks like the Steve Rogers uniform which is missing the midriff stripes.
The featured article on the new suit here at CBM even states that the stripes are missing.

However

When I zoomed in and over exposed the picture though you can still plainly see that the stripes are there.

I'd love to see someone photoshop these onto the Steve Rogers image thats on the site and post it in the comments section.

Sound off in the comments if you think this is news or you noticed them before.

The new suit looks killer. Way better than The Avengers costume, but maybe not as good as the one featured in The First Avenger though. I liked that suit a lot, so I'll have to wait and see this in a trailer or something before I judge.

People are making Captain America suit seem so bad, but it wasn't. It was just the helmet of the suit. It seemed way to small and tight on his head.

Yea I noticed them. However I like the pic teabag posted of the manip with the white sleeves better. This suit still looks great as a concept. Hopefully on screen will be great as well. The avengerd concept looked cool until it got onscreen. TFA looked ok as concept but proved to be the superior suit.

Yeah I just saw teabags manip, I disagree that this suit looks just like a shield uniform though. Looks to me really superhero-y the changes to the helmet look really good freeing up the neck and adding in the chin strap again makes it look balanced.

Strange that they've added in TASM like red arm stripes, that seems like an odd choice

some of you rip the piss out the cap outfit in the avengers, now they change it hopefully for the better & you still hate it.

remember this only concept art, wait until you actually see some footage or at least a still.

I noticed it, I just didn't have my account when the suit was first revealed so I didn't comment on it.
Good try though.

I noticed. I like the suit. I doubt it will be used for the whole film. It will most likely be used for his stealth missions.

Even if it is used for the whole film, I'm not going to gripe. They already did his "classic" look in Avengers which I was happy with so I'm fine with this one just looking cool.

My biggest gripe is the fingerless gloves and lack of red in it. I like Teabag's version way better.

I actually like the fingerless gloves because it would seem as if Cap himself would say, "Could you make the gloves fingerless this time? You know, so that it's easier to throw my frisbee around with my own grip since... you know, I am a Super Soldier?" Sounds reasonable to me.

Fingerless gloves make sense to me, the worlds all touch screens, can't do that shit in gloves.

The cap suit from the winter soldier movie concept art is most likely what Steve Rogers will wear in the movie. They stated earlier that the film will be a political thriller so his costume is suppose to be less flashy since he will be on stealthier missions. This is not what he will wear in Avengers 2. Cap will wear something that is closer to what he wore in in the first Avengers movie. So if anyone doesn't like this costume don't worry Cap will be wearing a more classic looking suit in Avengers 2.

This is perfect how it is, no Red actually makes it less goofy. I know, it's Cpt. America: Red, White & Blue. But anything that closely resembles TFA and detracts from The Avengers suit, is brilliant in my opinion. That unfortunatley means getting rid of the overly bright, overly saturated colours...

For me nothing will ever come close to how good the TFA outfit looked on screen. The helmet and chin strap was perfect, the clothing wasn't too tight, and made Evans look like a bulkier Cap. It was just perfect. This looks promising
