Why a Justice League Movie?

Why a Justice League Movie?

Sometimes I wonder why the Avengers was produced way before a Justice League movie can be made...

I mean Marvel Studios had all the right to do The Avengers but the Justice League being owned by a film studio powerhouse like Warner bros. is being left out in the dust. Marvel is kicking their ass for a very long time now with films like Spider-Man, Thor, Ironman, Captain America, X-Men, Incredible Hulk, The Punisher, Fantastic Four, Wolverine just to name a few, and Warner/DC has what? A failed Superman movie by Bryan Singer, a Green Lantern movie with a bad script, a Steel movie starring Shaq O’Neil, a Catwoman flick starring Halle Berry, and a black haired Keanu Reeves as Constantine? It’s like I’m watching shit piled on top of shit with only Christopher Nolan’s Batman films saving their asses from complete Marvel domination. But Chris is finished with his Batman series and now what? The Man of Steel is a new movie starring a NEW Superman actor in Henry Cavill (thank you Warner/DC for making an ass out of Brandon Routh of Superman Returns). I think they should make a Flash movie or even a Wonder Woman movie in two or three years time, and Aquaman too. But the production of their own movie is slower than a senile turtle, thank you Warner Bros. for being a dick. Now a Justice League movie I heard is in the works. I’m hoping Christian Bale is returning as Batman, like what Robert Downey Jr. did in reprising his role as Ironman in the The Avengers, those guys are the top guns and the face of their respective teams. I wouldn’t mind watching a Justice League movie with Henry Cavill as Superman and Ryan Reynolds as GL (although an African-American GL would look great in a Justice League movie, is Vin Diesel available?) as long as the movie had a fantastic script and a good director. They should get inspiration from Grant Morrison’s Justice League comics run and Mark Millar’s the Ultimates so it would have that comic book feel that the Dark Knight films lacked. The villains should be as powerful as the heroes themselves, and I’m not talking about Lex Luthor, let’s give our heroes world conquerors the likes of Zod, Sinestro and Ras al Ghul, bad ass bosses who can beat the shit out of the Justice League.

Apparently you didn't know that both Nolan and Bale have both stated that they are in no way going to have anything to do with Justice League.

@Liz, but it would be cool if they reconsider right?

Bale, yes. Nolan, not so much. He just doesn't sim to fit the idea of a Justice League movie. Btw, this belongs more in the editorial section.

Pretty sure Vin Diesel is white, and Bale would not want to come back unless nolan made him

Or you could play with your action figures.
Vin Diesel is biracial, but the man cannot act. If you like John Stewart, keep him away from the Corps.

This article was disappointing. I gathered with the image teaser that it would be kind of thrown together, but I thought it would explore some different idea - like going by the title: "Why a Justice League Movie?"

I mean, my editorial on Justice League was trying to persuade readers into understanding why diving in head-first could be more practical, especially in the long-run, but if I had MY way, DC wouldn't be like Marvel.

Why a Justice League movie?
It's not that I don't want to see a Justice League movie - I certainly do, but I think there's a LOT more to the DC universe than one superhero team. Or focusing on one character. Pair em up. Show some villain protagonists. Make stories. Why not a Task Force X movie? Why not a Cosmic Odyssey movie? Why can't we mix and match stories that could and should go together in a movie?

I don't want franchises - I want purpose.

No Bale as Batman, no Nolan connect to anything Justice League, reboot it. NO, NO, NO Ryan Reynolds in anything Justice League and reboot the [frick] out of that abomination film.
